It's cruelty free which I love and it really does shape your hair the way you want it to be. It helps my hair from looking frizzy and dried out it makes my curls look natural and beautiful all day long. A little goes a long way only thing I don't like is it leaves my hair sticky feeling and if you use to much on the roots it makes your hair look a little oily. And it does smell absolutely amazing. It's definitely better than a lot of what's on the market as far as conventional products available. If I compare it to natural hair care brands it falls short but if I compare it to mainstream toxic brands it's definitely a lot better as far as being natural goes. It contains a lot of good natural and nourishing ingredients which is great. It also doesn't seem to contain parabens or the most toxic ingredients but it does contain still a lot of questionable stuff. Now as far as the product in use I like the scent as it smells somewhat familiar like a body shop product or something. It smells like grape or olive just fresh and pleasant. The product is creamy, smooth and nourishing. It goes on and works through the hair easily. I don't have irritation from it and it seems to do what it's supposed to. The packaging is not to my taste in design but is quality and looks expensive. I divide my hair into sections and use a small amount of gel in each section then use the rake & shake method.
