The curl stays in a lot longer then I've had with other curling iron. I absolutely love the design and the color of this curling iron and the if you get rabies fact that it gets hot really quick it gives you the perfect girl without having to take forever to do your hair. After using it a few times I'm not sure how this product has such high reviews. The functionality is kind of a nightmare, and it doesn't get any better as you try to "get used to it". The stand on the underside of it is an absolute nuisance- always gets in the way, rips my hair out, makes the wand awkward to hold and maneuver around your head efficiently. Especially if you have a lot of hair. It sticks straight out in a fixed position, so you don't have the option to flip it down to get it out of the way like other hot tools I've used. The button placement is poorly placed as well. It always gets accidentally pressed in the frenzy of TRYING to find a good holding position to use the tool. This is my second curling wand that I've purchased so I definitely know how to use one. This thing is just bulky and awkward to hold onto. The buttons for the heat setting are in a bad spot so sometimes your hand ends up bumping them. The little stand is awkward and gets caught in your hair.
