I had no prior expectation upon trying it. I love it. I have long hair that is dyed and trends towards dry. And I love that this hairspray doesn't make a helmet out of my hair, leaving it touchable. I love that I can brush through it at the end of the day without my hair snapping. Thank you Joico.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNew formula is awefulI've been using Joico Joifix Firm Finishing Spray in the pump version for 25 years, I know this for a fact as my hairstylist used it on me when she practiced my hairstyle for my wedding, telling me it would hold my hairstyle through even humidity, which it did (it rained on our wedding day). I had it on auto order and then all of a sudden my orders stopped, much to my surprise. Upon investigating I learned the formula had changed to an aerosol, which I despise! With no other option available I decided to try the new version. In a nutshell, it stinks! I can't believe my favorite hairspray has been changed! I will need to find something comparable now, a duplicate in another brand. I think most of you reading this review are in the same boat. Hopefully, I can find something as awesome as the old version was!
