It is a primer, and it should be applied in the same amount as any other primer. It's not an eye mask, nor should replace an eye serum and/or eye cream. I get best results when used in conjunction. Because of the other reviews, I've experimented with volume of product, and when I use a bead about the size of the dispensing hole, for each eye, I get the best results. I then use my ring finger to press it in/pull off any excess product, then immediately go in with my cream concealer and the Jaclyn under eye brightening palette setting powder. My under eye gets really chalking throughout the day and looks awful, until now. This product is a game changer for my dry under eye. The first few times that I used this it was fine. It did not blow me away but it was decent. I tried again after a few months and there were tiny balls in it, like an exfoliating wash and it won't dissolve as I rubbed. I just picked out the balls and applied my makeup and went on with my day. After washing my face that night I noticed that my undereyes looked irritated and had bumps. I panicked and thought I had styes but then realized it was the undereye primer. At that point I realized I'm finally done with Jaclyn. I bought her makeup, some of her jewelry and in the end I'm always disappointed. I've never been able to buy one of her products until I found this and decided to try it out. One thing about me is that I have very dry eyes and under eyes and dry corners from my eyes so I wanted to try this out to see how well it goes with it. Well I'm not sure about it it does hydrate my under eyes but I have to shake it a lot bc if not and I squeeze the bottle to her some product out it comes out watery before the actually product comes out. I've found that not only does this primer help make the JH concealer look better, it pairs well with other concealers as well.
