Even when I find one I love, I still want to find the next best and so on...whether it be color, wearability, etc. I have been a fan of Jaclyn's for years and was super excited when she came out with my favorite type of lipstick to wear. My pros are that the colors are super cute and great for blending with various lip liner colors to shift the tone of the color, next the wearability is amazing. If I know I am going to a special event or have a long day ahead of me this is the lipstick I automatically go for because of how long it lasts with minimal to no touch ups. I would definitely recommend tis product to anyone looking for a good long wear matte lipstick. As for the cons, that make make this only a 4/5, 1.) the logo on the lipstick came off in less than a month of being in my beauty bag, which doesn't effect the product but looks cheap with the J A C L Y N all rubber off, 2.) the product images are awful, I really want to try other shades but these swatch photos don't give me a clear idea of the genuine colors these lipsticks are so it makes me hesitant to try new colors, 3.) the thing that absolutely bugs me the most about this product is the internal tube stopper is awful...as others have commented this product works better with a light coat, but when you pull the wand out of the tube a heaping glob comes out so you strategically have to scrape it against the mouth of the tube and then once done carefully scoop the product back onto the wand and put it back in... which is ultimately unfortunate b/c when I am in a rush I do not have time to use this lipstick because of the strategy that goes along with using it and avoiding waste... All and all amazing product, the tube it is in is the problem.Most Helpful Critical ReviewSoooo drying and overratedI really was looking forward to trying a long lasting liquid lipstick that was insanely drying on the lips—which is what these lipsticks are advertised as being. Honestly these are so much like the old awful Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lips that I was immediately transported back to 2015. There is nothing new, exciting, or appealing about these. I even went in and put hydrating lip masks on to prep my lips but still these lipsticks settled into lip lines plus I feel like they even created more lip lines than I actually had by how drying and uncomfortable they were. Seriously it wasn't just my lips feeling dry after wearing it or needing to moisturize before and after wearing it, it was legit old school liquid lipstick discomfort and even worse than some of those older formulas. It stays on all day!! & stays looking even too. The colors are nice, I will say most liquid lipsticks tend to get darker on me as they dry down. You do have to moisturize the lips before applying. However, no matter what she releases, it always seems to cause controversy. I don't think the negative comments about her products are justified, and people shouldn't let the hate get to them. This girl can't seem to make lipsticks correctlyREAD THIS5TracyK from FloridaThere isnt a minute in the day that I dont go without lipstick and I have to say this is the most amazing lipstick and I've never had anything quiet like it. It's not a throw-on-and-go type lipstick. You need to take your time and use a sponge-type disposable lip brush (I use them more than once). I always put on Aquaphor lip repair stick first. And because I have super light lips I always put on a traditional nude brown as a base. These Jaclyn lipsticks are like paint for your lips that last literally all day. I have almost every color and the fun part is I MIX THEM! You have to be quick and do it before they dry. I put one color on and I'm careful not to put too much; I dont spread it all the way yet; then dot another color on top; then I spread it with the sponge stick and OMG you can create a million unique shades! Momma is the MOST GORGEOUS shade and looks great when you add three tiny dots of I'm in It or Easy Peasy or just wear it alone. I blot it on the back of my hand then I tap on a bit of Jones Road Miracle Balm for a tiny bit of moisture but it still has a matte finish. If I reapply, I add Aquaphor again so it's not dry. For reference, I had prepped my lips beforehand to ensure they were properly moisturized and I was shocked when I saw my lips dry up like a prune. I am currently on my 4th one and have about 8 other colors. It stays on after ALL DAY and night. I do agree, about the container tube when the wand comes up there is a lot that gets wasted.
