I already use a few sunscreens but it's hard for him to apply the ones i have because he hates the feeling of having stuff on his face and also he has a beard so the minerals in the spf always catches and stays on his beard. So i bought this thinking it would blend in well and he might like it. Well it has a very interesting whipped texture. It's actually a quite pleasant texture. When you first apply it, it actually looks quite white, because it's a mineral sunscreen, but after rubbing it in, it pretty much has no white cast, if any, maybe a slight tone up. My boyfriend did not like this because although it blends out completely, it is way too greasy for him. And so I started using it haha. I have super dry skin but I live in a hot climate so I don't prefer something greasy on my skin. This product is very nourishing. Like I can feel that it doesn't dry out my skin at all. But because it's hot where I live, I start to sweat and get oily and this sunscreen does start looking very very shiny and oily. And I know it's this because most days I don't wear makeup, just sunscreen. Even when I powder it still ends up looking very very shiny after like 30 mins to an hour haha. I will still give this 4 stars however because I love the texture and I love that it nourishes my skin and I will keep trying to use it and maybe find a stronger powder to put on top of this. I heard really good things from people about this sunscreen being good for POC but it leaves a white cast on my skin. I used the 1/4 teaspoon on my face/neck and while the white cast wasn't as bad as some mineral sunscreens it was still noticeable and I would not wear it out in public. I find the marketing of this product as "good for all skin types" to be very problematic as it's clearly not made for people with darker skin. I do my full skincare routine containing La Roche Posay, Peach Slices, Bliss, and more. And I top it all off with this SPF. As soon as I do my skin breaks out in redness all over. After about thirty minutes it seems to disappear and my skin is normal again but it does concern me a whole lot. Other than this happening roughly twice a week I would reccomend this. I love that it's a mineral sunscreen and yes it had a very slight white cast (you won't have an 100% cast free sunscreen if it's mineral) that easily and I mean really easily melts away with just rubbing it on the skin. It is lightweight but creamy and feels really moisturizing. I got it as a daily sunscreen to wear when I don't want to wear my thicker tinted one. I feel like it is just such a solid sunscreen that does its job with no problems. I feel like there is a good amount of product per bottle and it blends really well into my skin. I personally find there's minimal to no cast, but that definitely could depend on the person/other products you are using/etc. I love it and trust it and definitely would recommend giving it a go!
