Cream Pot eye shadow is my go to for any eye shadow, so I was happy to try this one out. This color is very close to my natural skin tone but is a bit lighter, so it does brighten my eyes. It would pop a little more when paired with mascara or eyeliner. I have not had an eyeshadow that is this creamy before. It melts when you touch the pot. Its very buildable. It is hard to come off at the end of the day. I had to use a make up wipe to remove it. While i was wearing it, it was light and I did not feel like I had anything on. This can definitely be used as a shimmer or highlighter. Its a natural color with shimmer, and I am intrigued on how the other colors in their line will look on me as well. I like the ease of use and quickly having a nice look.Most Helpful Critical ReviewWhy is there fragrance in eyeshadow?Seems like a totally unnecessary addition "natural" or otherwise. I was thrilled when Burt's Bee's came out w/ cream shadows. I use rose gold as my base/primer. Then I use their powdered darker shadows in my crease and outer portion of eyelid. I'm a professional makeup artist, and love these cream shadows. Use fingers for creams, then brushes for powders and you'll have fantastic results too. I decided to try this Burt Bees product because I love their lipsticks (Russet River shade especially). The eye shadow was not as color saturated as I am used to. I wish it had a little stronger pink sheen to it, but I still like it for its ease in application and its natural glowy look. I use it everytime when I use makeup and no issues. It's not too instense of a shade and looks more natural. A definite staple. I wish Ulta sold more if not all Burts Bees products. There are only a few here that every other store sells as well. Burts Bees website has so many other products for the whole family, I wish it all sold here too. Plus, ulta is always late with new Burts Bees products compared to other stores, wish they stocked sooner.
