I have had chronically dry lips for about a year now. I've tried every product I could possibly think of and was suggested to me and nothing worked. Out of desperation I asked an employee, and she suggested this. Oh my god. This product is amazing. In less than a week my lips have become more moisturized, and stayed moisturized, than this entire year. It is COMPLETELY worth the price if you have chronic dry lips like me!
I own like 12 different Lano balms. I think I have every scent, a couple of treatments and tints. all of the other fruity balms smell wonderful. They all have the same intensely moisturizing qualities. If I had to pick I think the apple would be my favorite. So I was pretty excited to see a watermelon option, thinking it would be just as good and.. it's not. it has ZERO watermelon scent AT ALL. NONE. NADA. NOPE. NOTHING. it is SO disappointing. I gave it two stars because the formula is still smooth and deeply nourishing on the lips but it is just like the regular 101 balm... scent free. scentless. nothing. And my sense of smell is intact and heightened. But this is a HUGE disappointment.

I had a very surprising allergic reaction a few hours after application, so I wasn't able to get much use out of it

One thing you need to know, it's the best lip balm ever. I also can use it on my face if i have dry or irritated areas. Try it. You won't regret.

I am really liking the product so far but time will tell if it actually makes a difference to the hydration of my lips. The smell is so so good if you are a fan of watermelon. It does not smell like cantaloupe too! ( I feel like some "watermelon" scents are like that) One con to me is how the tube looks like it has so much more product then it actually does. After only one thin layer of use. The tube deflated quite a bit upon my first application.

I love all the lano products and this one is a great little lip balm. My lips are the least chapped they've ever been when I use them. The watermelon smell is not strong at all but does it ever *taste* exactly like watermelon

A little goes a long way! Which is great since it's a bit pricy. Protects lips and moisturizing

I went through seriously … 20+ products and this is the only one that worked. No petroleum (makes matters worse), no added ingredients… my lips stopped breaking out in rashes / being chapped as soon as I started using lanolin. Thank you lanolips!

I have lip scrub and have chap stick I have lip mask and none have seemed to do the job. My lips were dry, cracked, gross. This lip ointment has made my lips smooth and juicy. It looks good on and feels good. It works.

I have been dealing with the worst case of chapped lips in my life, been using Aquaphor with no luck for MONTHS. I finally found this and tried it, and oh my god it worked miracles! My lips were healed in a WEEK! I had these cracked and dry lips for 3 months! Amazing, I love it!

I highly recommend this product because it works well. I started with the strawberry one when I had extremely dry lips in the winter and it worked wonders. I had a cut on my lip and it was healed by the next day. The tube lasts a long time and you really get your money's worth.

I have the brand, love the lip balms but this one doesn't smell like watermelon, it doesn't really smell like anything at all. I have about 5 other ones that smell like what they are. Still great for hydration and leaves lips smooth and soft but not scented.

There is absolutely no watermelon scent to this balm. I gave it 3 stars because I still really like the formula, however, I specifically bought this for the fun scent. I am disappointed that it doesn't smell fruity at all.

absolutely love all Lano lip balms. this flavor is new and I love how mild the watermelon flavor is and the way the balm makes your lips look super shiny and not sticky. also great for dry knuckles in the winter.

Lano absolutely makes the best products! This will heal your chapped lips and skin like no other!!! I'm loyal to this brand, and I won't use anything else because it works better than anything else that I've get tried, including medicated lip balms!

I love this brand of lip balm , my first one was the strawberry and I loved it so decided to try watermelon. The watermelon taste and smell is very absent. The feel of it is still the same but if you're looking for a sweet watermelon , this is not it. Very disappointed about the watermelon

This is way thicker than expected and it has no watermelon smell. I got this for my 7yo daughter who has dry lips but she was disappointed by the lack of smell. And she hates how it feels. If you like the feel of vasoline this is perfect for you. If you want something that absorbs into the lips skip this!

Have to agree with everyone here - the Watermelon Scent is barely there & not even the sweet part. Very upset because watermelon is my scent obsession and you know I grabbed these the second they dropped. Very unfortunate. But, they are still the same Lano formula so they have that going for them. Lano is my favorite lip balm formula - not sticky, but thick and nice. Heals my lips when cracked and keeps them healthy when not. If these were the only scent they had I'd 100% buy them again. But they aren't the peach and pear are devine and I highly recommend those scents over this one -- and that is coming from a watermelon lover 😢 Still functional/doesn't smell good ~~ 4/5

I have a few different lano products that I love and think they smell amazing, not this one. It has a slight plastic like smell but definitely NOT watermelon. I was extremely disappointed because I love watermelon scented products. Don't bother with this one...get one of the other scents cause they are ten times better!

I love all of Lano's 101 Ointment Balms and plan to try them all. When this one came out, I ran to the nearest Ulta that had it. I'm so disappointed though. It performs like the 101 ointment balms, but there is barely any watermelon scent/flavor. The scent that is there too isn't the greatest. It's a bit like plastic watermelon. I hope Lano redoes the formula so people can really enjoy it.

This balm has a playdoh smell with the slightest and I mean slightest scent of watermelon. After a few seconds the scent goes away. I have use many products in the past. This is the only balm that has staying power and is so moisturizing.
