I have very fine, waist-length hair, and brushing my hair has always been a miserable fight even with conditioners and leave-in detanglers. Hair snapped and made a mat in my brushes and combs every single time, and tangles just turned into knots that ended up ripped out. I honestly didn't think this brush would be any different, but the reviews seemed good - and it's delivered. I still shed hair, but holy frag, the difference! I can brush my hair wet or dry, and it just swooshes the tangles out with only a few stray hairs caught. No pain, no pulling, and it's nice to use to massage shampoo and conditioner into my scalp in the shower. Between that and not fighting to brush my hair now, it's actually helping control my dandruff. That was a totally unexpected benefit for me. The only con to this thing is the ugly color choices. Hot pink or "retro" sparkly purple? Ugh. It looks like a cheap widget from a dollar store. Give me classic black, at least.
This scalp exfoliator/massager claims to stimulate and exfoliate the scalp and hair follicles allowing your hair to grow stronger and healthier. I can see using this for that reason but I didn't really feel like it was massaging my scalp. It is very lightweight and the teeth of the brush are very thin and plastic-like and just don't provide much of a deep massage sensation. I have another scalp massager that is made of rubber so it's very thick and has more weight to it so you get more of a real massage effect of the scalp. This brush almost feels kind of cheap and like the teeth could break off in your scalp at any moment. Again, as an exfoliator, this would probably be great for someone with dandruff. I use a lot of product in my hair and don't wash my hair but maybe twice a week so there is a lot of dry shampoo build up etc and maybe this might help to get all of that out as well but I just wish it was a little more dense so it feels like it's actually doing something. It does have a winged design to where you can slip your hand into it while using it in the shower and it won't slip off, which is nice but it just feels too "plasticky" and cheap to me for a scalp massager. Their detangling brushes are AMAZING though!!!

It's okay. It does get stuck in my hair easily, but I do have very thick hair.. May be great for someone with thin or normal hair. I definitely recommend the hair brushes.

My hair texture just didn't work well with this product. When using it, it caused my hair to get very knotted at the root. This would be good for a man or woman with short hair, or with thinner straight hair. My thick wavy curly hair didn't fare well. I use it on my toddlers fine straight hair and like it

This massager was nice. Not sure if it actually got the build up off my scalp. I didn't care for it because it caused a lot of tangles and pulled at the hair. I wouldn't recommend or buy.

I use this brush in the shower and it works well for getting the shampoo throughtout my scalp and increasing the blood flow throughtout my hair follicles.

I have tried the typical silicone nub type of "bristles" and had bought this one around the same time. It takes some getting used to when incorporating such new products into your routine, figuring out what you like best. I regret not having stuck to this product the whole time. It feels so much better than the silicone nubs on other brushes. I also wonder how much of my hair fallout is from the silicone brushes tugging hard at my hair. This brush feels like a little spa treat!

I used it for a while, but it's not part of my haircare routine. I only use it when necessary because I don't think it is essential for my hair type. I have thick hair, and I feel it tangles too much unless it is a user error.

I liked this scalp brush. It wasn't as hard as others I have used and was very soothing to my scalp. I recommend this brush if you want your scalp to be invigorated and exfoliated

It's an okay product, I loved the regular hairbrushes more. It is also small so easy to carry for travel or to store in shower without taking up too much space.

This is like magic for my tangles. I love using it in the shower. I have wavy hair and it helps keep it detangled so it's healthier. I like that it's so sturdy.

Awesome! My girl has curly hair and we totally love it, no one ouch while I was combing her hair. I also used it and is great also for dry and straight hair. I give it 5 stars.

This brush is a lifesaver! I have really thin hair and it is easily tangled and this truly is amazing for it. It handles all of my tangles and it doesn't pull too much. First brush to not hurt my head. Highly recommend!

I was skeptical whether I would like it as a detangling brush. I have used a similar product for creating rodeo queen wings (iykyk, but basically lots of teasing), and it did super well for that! Also easy to carry on the go. However, I wouldn't use it to replace my other brushes. I have a lot of fine hair that is wavy/curly. It can detangle my hair, but seemed to take longer to get the mats and tangles I get often out. Now, I did like it for brushing in product after showering, but I do brush my hair beforehand. I'll keep using it though!

This Tangle Teezer is amazing!! I don't know what I would have done without this little gadget! We've recently been on vacation, and pool days were so much easier when I could run this through my hair! The fine little bristles run through knots like a breeze. I'll be ordering a second one for my daughter. I have issues with stress headaches that seem to start at my temples. A little massage with this brush lessens the pain!

I needed a massager brush and exfoliator to help remove oil and residue from my hair. This pretty much fits right in my hand perfectly and even sometimes my fiance will wash my hair and it fits perfectly in his big hands! I like the strong bristles on this scrubber it feels super comfortable and am getting some healthy light weight scalp exfoliation action. I know I'm really cleaning my scalp and also use it to help detangle my hair. I was struggling with dandruff as well. After 2 uses my scalp is exfoliated and no more dandruff. It's extremely lightweight, though I feel it will hold up well over time. Definitely recommend to those that feel like their scalp doesn't quite feel as clean with just using your fingers. This is soothing and relaxing to use! Really stimulates the scalp.

I use this everyday, since I received it. I love to use it as a dry brush to remove any dead skin from my scalp. I also use it when shampooing. I have noticed a difference in my dry scalp.

I was planning on getting myself a scalp massager and exfoliator brush, so this being sent over was perfect! I'm using this in the shower to apply your shampoo is an absolute dream. It totally massages your head and if you close your eyes, you feel like you're in a spa. After coming out of the shower, my scalp just feels different, and a great way! It also helps provide a great lather to your shampoo. Everyone needs this as part of your shower routine.

I know my husband has loved this..it definitely massages the scalp and removes his product buildup. It's not the best on my long hair. Maybe the bristles are too long. It doesn't tangle, but just hard to glide through long hair. Great for short hair.

Like that it is shaped to easily use. Gently exfoliates and easy to use in the shower. Massages head while doing so feels very relaxing.

I've tried other scalp massage brushes. None of them hold a candle to this one! It actually exfoliates and doesn't tangle my hair. It's easy to hold and maneuver. My scalp feels clean and less flaky. I'm a lifelong fan of Tangle Teezer!

I use this in the shower to distribute my conditioner. I find it is difficult to hold, and my fingers slip out of the "handle". The bristles are also not strong enough for getting through the hair on the top of my head. Overall, it's nice, but I probably wouldn't buy this again.

I honestly haven't used this one yet. I should probably keep it next to my bed. All the other products have been great, so I am sure this one is great too

I love having this brush in our weekly routine. It helps break up the dirt and grim in the boys hair. Plus they love the feeling when I'm scrubbing their hair!
