I got the light/medium palette and I used a flat foundation brush to apply. I had zero problems picking up the product as long as I warmed it up first by swirling my fingers in the pan first. I used my brush to apply to my entire face and for concealer, I used a lighter shade in the palette and used my finger to apply. I've tried going over this with a beauty blender and pouncing it to blend, but it actually looks just fine without that step too. I am including pictures where I applied all of my products with a brush except my concealer. I did set everything with the Givenchy Prisme Libre Pressed Powder, which also color corrects for my cooler complexion. I used a synthetic face brush for this step and was careful not to over-blend. I mainly stamped the powder on and blended very lightly over the cream blush, highlight, and contour I used. I am including photos of my final look. This is the time I did not use a beauty blender and did my entire face with brushes. For the price, I'm floored at the performance. I've been using this palette quite a bit and I just might use a few of these shades all the way up. My photos were taken in indirect sunlight near a window and I used Elf's poreless face primer prior to applying the Master Class shades.
The consistency of this product is quite thick & almost greasy. The coverage is significant, and I would say that trying to "buff it out" into a more sheer finish will just leave you with a very messy looking base. It definitely only works well in a thicker layer as full coverage. I would say this is a water-repellent foundation, in that if you are swimming or caught in the rain it will hold up, but it does not stand up very well to sweat or oil coming from underneath, which will break the foundation up quite significantly. If you are planning on getting this for your professional kit, you will most definitely need both colors, as the "light/medium" palette is VERY light. I would describe all the colors in that palette as "fair", just in varying undertone shades. Overall this is a good value for the price. I use this in my kit on clients for photography only, as the finish in real-life is very unnatural.

To me, on mature skin this looks like skin even though this is full coverage. It did not emphasize my wrinkles but looks like natural makeup- skin without the blemishes. It is like stick concealer but in a pan and a lot of it to mix and match throughout the seasons. *please J.cat don't get rid of these pallets! lol*

It looked promising from the pictures. But when first testing the shades by running a light finger over the darkest option, it seemed very dry & was hard to pick up even though it's a cream. Even when using a brush & sweeping it back & forth several times, still barely any product lifted from the pan. Very poor quality & lacking unless you don't really know all the tricks to a good finished face.

It's a good product I just wish it had more options for very fair skin other then that it's good

If you think this palette is dry and can't blend then you need to get your technique down and maybe even try a different brush. I use the elf putty brush and it's amazing! I did into two shades and then warm it up on the back of my hand and the result is so pretty and I use two shades to create the perfect tone for me!! Love this and will definitely be repurchasing!! It's great for the price point!

The pallet is perfect for countering light to medium skin tones. The formula is super creamy and easy to blend! I definitely recommend!

I enjoyed this palette the formulation is good. To make this product work especially for dry skin add a few drops of your favorite facial oil to melt the product for a smooth application. The only little critique I have is the color selection for deeper skin tones is limited for a medium/deep palette.

I tried picking this up with a brush it of the pan and it DID NOT work. It was blotchy and messy. When I finally used as instructed and took a small amount out with a spatula and dabbed and dragged the color down, to warm it up, the coverage was beautiful. Still almost luminous that sets wonderfully with powder. For the price and color range it's a win. I think this would be especially wonderful for women of color that often need more than one foundation on the face to find the most natural looking match.

Bought this product because Tati Westbrook recommended it and I absolutely love it!! The creams blend effortlessly into the skin and mix well to create new shades. I set it with 2 different setting powders and it didn't smear or budge ! The packaging feels very cheap but the actual product is great! Would recommend buying the spatula/pallet if you don't like mixing product on your hand. Overall a good product considering the price.

I love this concealer palette. Blends & matches great if you know how to use it. I recommend.

this palette blends with effort ! it's something so fool proof that anyone can use it. not too pigmented yet not too sheer either. it's like the perfect pigment.

i ordered this a few days ago and received it today and the pigmentation is horrible i triend blending it and it felt like vaseline. all colors ended up fading in my skim but no pigmentation there . very underwhelming
