I love the warm Floral scent. Not too overpowering but sexy and elegant just like the bottle it is in. The description of the new fragrance had me intrigued, it is described to be a combination of lavender essence from France with the sensuality of Moroccan orange blossom and a daring note of musk. I am not a fan of musk scented perfumes but this one I did not get the scent of musk at all. The bottle is a gem in itself, it is described as a couture statement, like a sexy black dress (the cap) and gold chains representing the Yves Saint Laurent bags. That in my opinion is genius advertising. This woman's fragrance has hints of Lavender Essence Orange Blossom White Tea Accord. LIBRE Eau de Toilette is a fresh interpretation of the iconic Eau de Parfum, this feminine perfume has bursts of French Lavender Essence and Moroccan Orange Blossom that combine with an icy White Tea Accord to create a modern and youthful scent. Since this is parfum and not perfume, the scent lasts and lingers in the air, I felt like I was commanding attention each time I walked by. It's a really nice bright floral type in my opinion! It's a bold smell that's warm, balanced, and layered and you truly get the full effect from just one spritz. Each component is distinguishable and the result is intriguing & sophisticated. Surprisingly, as the top notes evaporated, ll the complexities and lushness of the EDT disappeared with them. The acrid smell of baby powder comes out of nowhere and takes over. Some hours later, after most of the middle notes are gone , the base notes begin to shine through. This smell was also very appealing. It reminded me of a sexy and bright men's cologne. I loved it.
