I thought I bought the wrong size. Boy, I was mistaken!! These held up my long (past shoulder length) hair during my high impact workouts. They create the prefect messy top knot without the need to bobby pin excessively. YES, they do stretch out and look like they are only good for one use. However, hit them with the high setting on your blow dryer while they are not in use and they go back to the original size with the same elasticity!Most Helpful Critical ReviewThe Traceless Hair RingI like the hair ring on the basis that it works better than a traditional hair tie when putting my hair up and that I can pull it out of my hair easily and without tangle. However, it does not live up to its claim that it does not leave a kink in your hair. It definitely leaves kinks, especially when using it for a messy bun. This product was also supposed to be tangle free and not leave a ponytail ring. Well that's a negative on all accounts. Maybe if you just loosely slip it around your hair but then it doesn't stay on well for more rigorous activities like running. Maybe if you have very thick and dense hair this would work well but I have medium density and thickness hair and it did nit work for me.
