I received Ever Pure Purple Shampoo and Conditioner by L'Oréal for free in exchange for my review. I've tried a few purple hair washes before like Kristin Ess The One Purple shampoo and conditioner from Target and Amika Bust Your Brass from Sephora. I will say I loveee Amika, but Kristin Ess gave my hair a purple hue after using it a few times. I wasn't expecting much from this shampoo and conditioner. The last time I used L'Oréal was when I was a kid, and the bottles looked like fish. However, I was pleasantly surprised. As with any purple shampoo, it turns your shower purple as you use it, so you'll end up cleaning your shower as you shower. Otherwise, you'll have purple and blue spots everywhere. Unlike the other conditioners, this one is more blue than purple, but the shampoo is the typical purple color. It did not make my hair purple, but it did tone out the brass and lightened my baby lights. There wasn't much of a smell, and it didn't really do anything for my hair other than improve the color and tone, which is it's purpose. The before and after photos are after one use of the product. Overall, if you want to try purple shampoo, I'd say give L'Oréal Ever Pure Purple a try. I still love Amika, but it's 20 dollars for 8 oz at Sephora. This shampoo is 6.99 at Target for 6.8 oz and works just as well. #EverPurePurple #PurpleShampoo #EverPure #contest #complimentary @lorealhair @Influenster @amika @kristin_ess @target @sephora #review #purpleshampoo #hair
I purchased the Ever Pure purple conditioner and I ALWAYS have to follow with a leave in, because it doesn't leave my hair feeling silky, but my biggest complaint it the tone. My tube/bottle is not purple at all! If I use my imagination I might consider it an indigo, but really it is just a deep dark denim blue-which may be good for a lot of folks, but I purchased purple, because my hair requires an actual purple. This leaves my hair looking a bit dingy and it actually REMOVES the purple tone dye I like to use in my hair. I wanted to neutralize yellow- (not become green) and preserve the pop of color I normally add. Yellow and blue make green...

Best I've tried especially at this price. I have super highlighted, dry, wavy hair. This really brightens to kick out the orange/brass that can creep in. It's also very moisturizing.

Apart from smelling nice, this conditioner does literally nothing to tone your hair.

I purchased for L'Oreal Paris ever pure sulfate free color care system purple conditioner for my hair that I'm letting go gray. At this time I do have some brassy colors and I was told if I were to get purple shampoo or purple conditioner it would help with the brassiness on the hair and not place it on the scalp. Oh my, I look like a freak with purple undertones in my hair. And to say the least I am not happy!! I still have the brassiness I just have another color nail added to the gray the brassiness and NOW purple. I remember back in the 70s when my grandmother would go to the beauty shop with her gray hair and come home with purple undertones. I would always laugh at her under my breath, guess I am paying for it now!

This product really toned down the brassines in my highlights and overall color. It did leave my hair a bit dry but then again, most toning hair products do that. I've tried many brands of toning shampoos and conditioner and I have to say that this brand is in my opinion one of the top 5 brands. I like that it doesn't have that heavy perfume scent like Clairols Shimmer Lights.

This is great! My highlights have gotten a little brassy this summer so it was suggested to me to try this product and what a difference! Love it

I Use this conditoner the normal (ends of the hair then slowly moving upward) Honestly its not a huge game changer, Not bad for my hair at all, just not super different from other conditoners i have been trying.

I purchased the shampoo and condition of this product based on the reviews. I am not sure if it is me and I reached out to loreal paris but the smell that lingers in my hair after using this product for 3 weeks is horrid. I thought I had Covid Nose but no other symptoms. I threw away my $100 pillows. I thought it was me but after ruling everything else out I washed my hair and let it air dry to find out that it was this shampoo and conditioner. No wonder I would smell the scent heavier while in shower. Ughhh if only someone will refund me my pillows back after realizing it was these products.

this stuff smells incredible and it did great toning down my new highlights

I use this in conjunction with another white conditioner (same line) once a week and my hair feels soft and isn't as brassy. I find if you use this alone it can make your hair a little dry but if you use another conditioner after or with it, it's just fine!

Use this on my child's blonde hair. Good for toning but if you at all have a scent sensitivity try something else. Like we doused her head in perfume.

Use it in the shower twice a week . Was easy to use very happy with this produce

Will be getting rid of these. Left my hair feeling so dry and after three weeks of using twice a week, did absolutely nothing to tone my blonde highlights. Very disappointed.

The shampoo was decent but the conditioner made it difficult to comb my hair out, made my hair feel tangled instead of easy to comb like a good conditioner would.

I generally love L'Oreal products and trust they not only work, but they'll enhance your hair... I have healthy brunette hair with highlights that were a bit brassy. This shampoo literally fried my hair and 6 weeks later my hair smells burnt, is dried out like straw despite dropping $$ more n multiple hair masks and deep conditioner to repair it. I threw this in the garbage! If you value healthy hair beware of this product!!

Solved my brassiness! After years of trying many many brands of purple shampoos and conditioners to reduce brassiness, finally, this one really does the job...and at a great price. Have been using it every other day and it leaves my hair smooth and soft without feeling heavy or overly conditioned. I'd been depending on my hairdresser to tone out the brassiness, I hope she doesn't mind that I can do it myself now!

I like it! It worked pretty good, but the blonde is slowing coming out of my hair as I am trying to go back dark so it wont be good for me anymore

. It smells good and made my hair soft but does not do anything for the color. I only bought because it was in a pack with the shampoo

Perfect for taking care of blonde hair. Keeps brass and yellow tones out and conditions the hair to keep it healthy

Left my hair feeling pretty waxy and greasy feeling, nothing about the product really stuck out to me. If youre looking for good hair products you have to check out anything by Shea moisture
