I've tried the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, didn't work out for me , was a little to greasy & it broke me out. I have the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, I do like it but the fragrance is too strong just like the magic cream & it's also a tiny bit greasy too. NOW this one is the perfect balance!! It's hydrating yet not thick, it's dewy yet not greasy! It gives you the smoothest base for your makeup!! It literally smooths out your skin so good! It gives an airbrushed effect! It's fragrance free!!! & has nothing but good ingredients in it!! I mean come on YOU CANT BEAT IT! I love it! It's way cheaper then the magic cream & face base & id purchase this one over those real quick! It's honestly a really good primer if you love a smooth dewy base! You can also use it on your no makeup days as a moisturizer! Makes your skin look perfected. All and all it's a great primer! I highly recommend it I can't believe I haven't seen any hype over this!!! It's amazing! Only 1 review on this so I had to review it! It is a great moisturizer but does not work well for me. I have oily skin and use Tarte liquid foundation. My foundation did not stay in place and if I touched my skin at all throughout the day, all my makeup would come off and blending it only made it worse. I love it! I wanted a primer that wasn't too glowy or too mattifying. It's been hard to find until this came along. It is as described, dewy but not shiny, it gives the smoothest canvas to apply foundation unlike any other I've tried. I have pores and dry skin but oily in t-zone and this moisturizes and smooths my skin so the foundation looks better than ever. I have not used this as a moisturizer alone, only When going to apply makeup, in place of my usual moisturizer and primer. I think I'd go through the jar too quickly that way, so I just use this on make up days.
