Turns out, the complaints are legit. The band is clear so you can't see it when it's in the box but when you take it out, you'll see that it's quite inflexible and thick. I don't understand why Ardell has to use this band in several of their lash lines. This band is a plastic strip that has zero flexibility and will poke the inner corners of your eyes. At first, it was ok but about 15mins into it, I could feel the band poking at my inner corners. I was bending them trying to make them flexible but the inner corners kept sticking out! They weren't long because I had already sized them to my eyes. I curled them with a lash curler and still did the same thing. I finally cut a the inner corner that kept sticking out and they fit PERFECTLY. They were not too short on my eyes either! The band is really thick and almost seemed like the lashes and the band weren't put together correctly. When I pulled the lash off of the backing, it was a weird wavy shape. I tried to put them on but they were not flexible enough to stabbed where you need them. Ended up just wearing mascara. So disappointed in these.
