It goes on somewhat greasy but it doesn't sit on top of the skin like a greasy mask but feels very pleasant. Great for dry winter months when skin feels tight and dry. It is like my skin drinks it overnight. And i have combination skin, mostly it's normal but can break out easily with wrong product and this is not causing me any irritation. If anything i think i wake up a bit glowier after i put this balm the night before i go to sleep :-)Most Helpful Critical ReviewHack: use this on razor burn!?When I warm this up in my hands, it kind of has the texture of first aid cream, which I don't love. It sits on top of the skin, which provides a protective barrier, but it's too thick for daytime under makeup. I'd still recommend another moisturizer and then this on top to seal it in (which is what I do with face oil, which I think I prefer). However, on a whim, I've been trying it on razor burn / folliculitis, particularly along my bikini line. And it helps?! Not it's intended use, but it's soothing on irritation, so I suppose it makes sense. I honestly might repurchase just for that purpose. My bad for not reading the directions. I was more concerned with the ingredients, which are great. I love that its scent free. It was a bit separated in the comtainer, so i just stirred it with a beauty spatula.
