I was very shocked to say the least at how amazing the coverage is for this to be a powder foundation. I've always been pretty loyal to liquid foundation because the powder foundation never covered enough for me but this one changes the game up! Also, it set nicely on my skin and didn't feel cakey at all, very light and airy. I use the Pearl shade it it matches my skin tone perfectly. The fact that it's waterproof is a huge plus, especially with summertime pool days coming up. The coverage and mattifying effect is long lasting and keeps my face oil-free for hours and hours. I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves great coverage and matte effect.
Even though the packaging looks nice, and I do like the little mirror compartment on the bottom, the way the foundation comes out on my skin is cakey, and I need to even it out a lot with the provided sponge. The shade is also too light for my skin tone. Upon touch, the consistency of the powder foundation feels nice, which is why I'm surprised it looks cakey and not smooth on my skin.

I had this compact 2 days and it began to crack. I threw it out after 5 days. I should have returned it for a refund.

I am 53 and have always steered clear of powder foundations. They Settle into fine lines and make dry skin look even drier and older. I have found with L'Oréal Infallible fresh wear foundation I don't get that. I actually still see my skin come thru after it has been on for 15 mins and has mixed with my natural skin oil. It lasts all day and doesn't feel like a mask on my face. I get a solid medium coverage

When it's super hot, I opt for powder foundation, as it tends to last longer through sweat for me. This broke down terribly on my chin and around my sunglasses within an hour of being outside. Unfortunately it's the only foundation I brought with me to Japan, so I'll probably skip it.

I use this over my CC cream makeup and it is excellent!

I have oily skin though I am older. This felt tight on my skin when I first put it on. It ended up sinking into my frown line and the powder was sliding on my oily skin. Not happy with this foundation. Going to return it.

I love this powder and especially recommend it for blemish coverage because of the buildable coverage it provides, but I've learned that this product unfortunately cannot be taken on the go. As has happened to another reviewer, I've purchased these compacts multiple times and in each one, the powder has broken apart within the first couple weeks. This should never happen to a brand new powder, so as much as I like the formula, I'm actually not sure if the issue is the formula, or it's packaging. Either way, it saddens me that I am only able to apply this product in the morning and can't take it with me for touch ups throughout the day and can't bring it on trips because it will make a huge mess and wastes massive amounts of product if chunks of powder fall to the ground when you are trying to apply it. Please, please update the packaging or look into improving the strength of the formula!

Of the myriad of foundations I've tried over the years, always looking for that one that has great cover but not too much, isn't too glowy and is easy and quick to apply, this is the one I'm happiest with. It took two tries to get the right shade, but now I'm sold, and the price is right.

after trying Laura Mercier, Fit Me, NYX powders, etc i decided to give this powder a try for a long international trip and i'm so happy i did! i have dry, cool-olive skin and got 180 linen. i will say you have to moisturize enough and don't pack this on with the sponge. i've used it with a powder puff and on top of Glossier concealer and NYX serum concealer and it's perfect. coverage is medium and it STAYS even through Miami summer humidity and heat.

This powder is amazing and give my Mac Studio Fix NC45 a run for its money! I'm in the shade Hazelnut. The coverage was great, the color is a spot on dupe for NC45 and it's less expensive! Win, Win, Win! The wear was on par with Mac. I purchased the Mac powder at the same time to compare it and now that I know, psst… L'Oreal is the new go to!

When I first tried out this product as a person with dry skin it was rather horrible because it looked unnatural, hold onto dry patches, peels ect. However one day I applied my usual Almond oil to my face (for days I don't wear makeup) and I had a rather abrupt last minute meeting. I was in a big rush so I decided to just use the powder...the way it completely made the powder look 100% better on me was amazing. so now my go to when I want to rock the your face but much better look is applying my almond oil and after 20 minutes I will proceed with the powder and it's a game changer. So by itself I give it a 20, with the oil a 75 out of 100. because yes it doesn't have much holding power like a regular foundation but it does last enough time for those last minute life situations.

I used to use Laura Mercier loose mineral powder. Since that was discontinued I have been looking for a comparable product and can't believe this is the one. I'm on the fair end of complexion and sand looks great on me.

I could not be more impressed with this powder foundation. What I had been using for many years was discontinued. The price and quality get 2 thumbs up from me!

I had heard this foundation was amazing, and it was about half the price of what I currently pay for my powder foundation of choice. Howver, the coverage was not nearly as good as the one I use. It was a little too pale, and the coversge was not full or all that buildable. I would not purchase again.

I've tried this only a couple times. It's pretty good thus far. It came with a bit of it flaking off into the lid. My only real complaint is the fragrance. As someone who is prone to migraines triggered by smells, it's very unfortunate.

It is okay for the price. It definitely clings to dry patches and doesn't look like skin. I tried this because a YouTuber compared it to a higher end brand and said that it is "the same", it is not. It's a cheap foundation and I got what I paid for.

Use this foundation as my daily, when it is a special occasion I use the more costly makeup.

I like it better than the liquid foundation.

This powder foundation is the best I've ever tried! Its so perfect - full coverage, natural finish, doesnt make me oily or dry. Only downside is the powder breaks apart. Ive had three of these and each of them completely shattered within the very first month. It creates a whole mess in my makeup bag and theres powder everywhere. It becomes totally unusable. Please do something about it. I cant repurchase knowing this keeps happening.

Great coverage! Doesn't feel like you have any thing on.

It was too dry. It did not give me the beautiful finish I was expecting.

This has high coverage, and can start settling into lines after a few hours. I can't wear it on my whole face because it smells like a perfumed lotion, which is something I cannot take on my face. I smell it all day and it gives me a headache. So I use this when I will be wearing a mask that day.

My only issue with product is the limited shades
Shawnna from Maryland
Tik tok girlies have been raving but all the shades have a weird tone to them that makes it 20x harder to shade match with. I picked a shade based off my undertone off the whim. I wouldn't recommend but I needed it for lace. The market price needs to go down by a lot.

Recently purchased due to a Youtube review, and I can say this powder does not disappoint! Good for everyday. Could be used to set or use on its own. Love it so far!
