First, my kids (9 and 7) and I have very sensitive skin, one has sensory issues and the other has asthma, so finding a sunscreen that is convenient and easy to use as well as safe for asthma (no aerosol,) and eczema, AND doesn't feel sticky/slimy or turn everyone into pale ghostly versions of themselves has been…tricky. I don't even care that this is advertised for faces…we use this on ears, shoulders, necks, and faces. I already knew this is one of few brands that isn't and issue for skin sensitivity, so I gambled on buying this spray because it seemed convenient. We LOVE the smell, it doesn't burn or run into anyone's eyes, it dries well AND doesn't make my acne prone skin break out. This product is a WIN for us.
Agitated with these new "face mist" products on the market that actually cannot be sprayed directly onto the face. I purchase spf face sprays for the days I have makeup on. I am on-top of my spf application, and want to be apply to reapply every couple of hours without ruining my makeup. If you read the instructions for this product, it says to NOT spray directly onto face, but to spray onto hands, and then rub on the face. This defeats the purpose as to why most would purchase this product, and labeling it as a "face mist" is very misleading. I sprayed it on my face anyways (always keep eyes closed for a few seconds after, and tuck your lips in). It was not irritating to my eyes, but it was ridiculously greasy looking, even on my very dry skin. And no, it wasn't the good kind of shine (dewy, glowing), it was embarrassingly shiny.

I have combination skin and I used this SPF to reapply in Disney Florida although it is a little bit greasy it definitely gets better after a bit but what I do is use a oil control powder or blotting papers. I still think it is worth it!!recommended especially for dry skin Ps didnt break me out ( acne prone skin and sensitive to some fragrances)

My grandkids hate sunscreen on their faces and fuss about it all the time, because I insist on sunscreen. They never fuss about using this sunscreen.

I got this because i felt it would be a great way to reapply sunscreen throughout the day. I actually don't mind the smell but make sure to not open your eyes for at least 20 sec after spraying or it will burn. The only thing I dislike is that it makes you look greasy/oily. I have to use powder after

After finding out my favorite Korean SPF mist was discontinued, I bought this for retouching on days when I have makeup on. First, it isn't a mist, it's more like a direct spray. Second, it's EXTREMELY sticky and greasy. I have very dry skin so normally this isn't an issue and sunscreens dry down but this just stayed sticky and greasy, which was uncomfortable, messed up my makeup, and made me look like a greaseball. Third, oh my gosh, does it hurt your eyes. It stings so incredibly bad and even after the stinging went away my eyes were watering so much it was like I was crying. It does have a nice scent so I'll give it that, but you're better off getting an SPF mist from a Japanese or Korean brand that knows what they're doing.

I read the reviews and wanted to try this mist anyways because i love sum bum but there is no reason to have witch hazel in any skincare product. I can already tell why its so drying and irritating to the eyes. An immediate return

There is nothing different about this spray versus the body sprays. This is just marketing to make it seem special for the face. I would argue that this spray mechanism allows for more fluid to come out at once, which reaults in a sticky feeling. Would not recommend this!

Nice finish but 1 star because never in my life have i had a sunscreen burn my eyes so much. I honestly thought i might go blind.

I'm not one to write reviews. The only reason I'm writing this is to advise all sensitive skin people to skip this face mist. I sprayed this on my face while on the beach. My eyes stung so bad, they also got extremely sensitive to the light. I basically washed my eyes and face with clean water, wiped them with a clean cloth, and kept them closed. All of this DID NOT HELP. The sting sensation lasted 1-2 hrs. I'd recommend to spray mist on hand first, then carefully apply to face while avoiding the eyes and sorrounding areas. I know! Not worth the mist.

I wanted to love this as an easy refresher when im out but unfortunately, this doesn't actjally Prevent sunburn. I got sunburn on parts of my face and was fine on other parts, even though i pretty much soaked my whole face with the spray! So for that reason i would not recommend.

Smells great, doesn't make my skin look greasy, and is super refreshing if you put it in the cooler.

I love it, used at the beach, pro tip leave it in your icechest! It was so refreshing when it was time to reapply, i wish i had found this sooner. I have nothing bad to say about it.

I hate the painstaking process of putting on sunscreen lotion, but hate that spray sunscreen adheres to your skin like a film of super glue and doesn't wash off easily. This sunscreen is the perfect fix. Nice and thin but I've never had issues with burning in odd spots due to a lack of coverage. It feels so light and breathable and washes off far more easily than spray sunscreens. My only wish is that it came with a continuous spray nozzle. Highly recommend. Slightly banana scent which actually is nice when I put this sunscreen on to go on run, it keeps me smelling a little nicer.

I'm trying this out and while I don't mind the SPF lvl and whatnot, the smell is so intense and strong it puts me off from using it because its so overwhelmed fragranced. I've also noticed I tend to get tiny breakouts when I use it. It irritates the eyes so much as well, and it's a constant all day irritation unless you flush your eye for like 10 min. I don't have an issue with the protection but there are too many cons for me

My sister introduced me to it and it was love at first spray. It didn't feel greasy, it lasted a long time, my face felt amazing and the smell was pleasant. I ended up recommending it to my other sister who also loves it. I love the Sun Bum line.

I really enjoy using this sunscreen facial spray—it's a quick way to apply sunscreen before leaving the house, and smells yummy!

i brought this on vacation to Mexico and it worked beautifully! The smell is heavenly. Every day someone was telling me I smelled so good. I was sharing it and recommending it to everyone. I sprayed it directly on my face, neck and chest. Did not irritate my eyes or clog pores after a week of use. Not greasey or heavy. Will repurchase for sure.

I love Sun Bum products and this one is lovely. It is light on the face and also smells nice.
Bailey from FL
It has a fine mist spray. Smells like delicious banana and coconut. All of these face mists say don't spray onto face but it sprays on fine and in a light, no-cast, even way. Doesn't sting or irritate. Doesn't need to be rubbed in; great on makeup

I haven't had a break out this bad in over a year and this was the only change in my routine.

Love the smell, love the simplicity of the spray, works great, my daughter keeps it in her backpack for school and sprays on before PE Love this product for travel, and in my purse for easy application

This mist is easy to use… just mist on or mist into hand and pat on…protected well for full day on my bike. I didn't care for scent… needed a little less chemical smell and a little more fresh scent or maybe coconut since it was on my face all day.

I'm on certain medication that makes me sensitive to sun exposure and I have extremely sensitive skin so I thought it would be worth the money to buy a high quality facial sunscreen. Within a week of use I stared to puff up and have tender skin especially around the eyes and cheeks. I disappointed having spent that much money on a product I won't be able to use.
