My skin type is also very oily so wearing this alone helps minimizes how long it takes my face getting super Oily.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot recommend for oily skin typeAt first when I squeezed the product into my hand I noticed it had a very silicon texture to it which I like because those tend to hide my pores on my nose and cheeks very well. When I applied for the first time on my face I noticed that I had used to much product and my face immediately felt soft but extremely oily. I tried my best to rub the product into my face but it just sat on the top. I then applied my Born This Way foundation and saw it gave my skin a shine but saw in other areas the primer and foundation didn't mix well, which was on my oily t-zone (nose, cheeks, upper lip) and separate and left me with patches of foundation in some areas and bare skin peeking through in the others. I tried to power my face to see if it would set my foundation and give me a less oily look which it did but with me constantly sweating and dabbing my face with napkins it was inevitable for my foundation to slide right off my face. My make up looks extra amazing always when i have primer under then without it. I mean you can say that after any primer technically as long as they dont melt off your make up or make you breakout. BUT, I can't put eyeliner over it. Before it dries down the eyeliner is splotchy so I thought I just wasn't waiting for it to dry down long enough. When it is completely dry if you put eyeliner ontop of this primer it cracks and can be pulled right off. The eyeliner also loses some of it's color before it cracks. I found that my other drugstore primer fills and smooths the look of my large pores in my t-zone so much better than this.
