As you can imagine going through teenage years is the worst time for spots/acne, trying multiple products and nothing seems to work. Some made my skin worse, others helped a little but nothing really helped stop or reduce the number of spots from breaking out. My skin was so bad, i had acne and scars caused by oily skin it was a nightmare. However, over a year ago now. I discovered carbon theory and with honesty they have changed my life. Ever since using the charcoal soap and moisturiser my skin has turned out amazing! Feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin. The results: Some scars have gone completely, no longer get new spots coming through. I use both the. charcoal soap everyday morning and night and moisturiser every morning, apply the overnight detox serum at night. It has worked wonders. This review is supposed to be on the overnight detox serum, which I have used. But, wanted to praise the other products in the range because they are amazing. Nothing compares. The overnight detox serum, has made my skin smooth and more toned. Honestly, highly recommend carbon theory, wish I had discovered this brand sooner. My advice, it may be a lot of effort to keep at a skin care routine, but the effort is worth the time because the end results will make you feel more confident and comfortable with your own skin. It smells awful, let me just say that first. I also don't have super bad acne, but when I do, it's bad. Saying that, I've had this unpopable pimple for probably a month and it's still there (using product since beginning of November). I'd say its helps keep my acne away, but it doesn't clear what's currently there.
