I didn't expect to like this as much as I do or for it to become an absolute staple in my regime like it has. For reference I'm mid 40s. My skin has spent a lot of time in the sun over the years due to work and extracurricular activities. I was unhappy with the texture / uneven tone and literally spending hundreds of dollars to find a product to correct this. Then this game changer came along. I apply it nightly. I'm not really sure what people are complaining about with the scoop, it isn't that serious people just start with a little bit. I scoop a bit into my palm, dab a bit of moisturizer in and gently massage it into my skin. I rotate through a lot of other products in my routine but this has had no bad effects when used with any of them. My skin GLOWS in the morning. It feels plumped up and happy. My texture evened out remarkably. And it makes my skin so soft. I feel like this literally took years off my face (I know I sound like I own stock but I'm sick of wasting money on products that don't work). I love it so much I also mix it with my body lotion after showering (one reason why I love the larger scoop). Nothing I have ever tried including face products costing well over $200 have made such a noticeable difference. This is my third purchase. The jar has a tremendous amount of product. Worth every cent. I give this to all my girls as gifts and everyone is hooked. At this price it is absolutely worth a shot. My favorite product of all time.
I love The Ordinary's Niacinimide powder but I bought the latest batch a week ago and apparently it has already expired. Still, I mix it with my cerave in hopes that some of the magic remains. :( The Ordinary! Take note, I've noticed a lot of reviews commenting on short expiry dates.

At 49 with extremely oily skin, I've tried nearly everything under the sun for oil control. Yes some people might call it a "glow", yeah no, for me it is just oil secreting through my pores and I hate it! I use makeup every day and have changed my routine a thousand times! Now I am in my element and this is what I do: -Cerave for oily skin cleanser -Mix 1/2 dropper of Hyaluronic acid, 1/2 dropper of Multi-Peptide + HA Serum ("Buffet") and 1 scoop of The Ordinary 100% Niacinamide High-Potency Oil-Control Powder. Apply to skin, let it dry for about a minutes - Apply La Roche-Posay Anthelios AOX Daily Antioxidant Serum with Sunscreen SPF 50 , your skin will absorb it in about a minute as well. - Apply a primer I prefer High-Adherence Silicone Primer from Ordinary, but when I run out I also use the a primer from NARS -Then my foundation and I use Ben Nye cake foundation, it is phenomenal!!! Love it

I love this product in the summer because it controls my oil. When i'm more dry in the winter, i'm not sure how much I would enjoy it. But it's great for keeping the oil at bay!

This product is definitely not for the faint of heart, so I would recommend using it only once a week. Beautiful results!

I came to reorder, saw negative reviews, so I had to leave my own. This is the best product in my skincare routine. I struggle with acne and I used to add benzoyl peroxide to my night moisturizers, but it would always bleach out my pajamas and sheets to the point I couldn't wear anything but white to/in bed. But it always kept acne in check. I took a gamble on this powder and I've used an entire bottle - which lasts FOREVER(!!!) - to add to all of my different winter/spring/summer/fall night creams and serums. Never any issue. My skin is perfect and I haven't bought benzoyl peroxide in probably a year. I love it so so so much and can't see a day that I don't use it. I get to keep my favorite products AND keep my acne in check. I wish I could do this with other ingredient powders like vitamin C. Sorry for the rant but if you have acne and want to keep using your favorite products, try this.

I just received this in the mail and used it for the first time tonight. I didn't do a patch test and I put it all over my face and had no irritation or anything. Just the normal tingling like it said the only thing I don't like about it is it stinks I do not like the smell of it even when it's on your face, you can smell it. I mixed it with my buffet copper peptides. I'm only going to use this product at night.

I see a few bad reviews, but I honestly love this product. I'm terrible at incorporating different products into my skincare routine. I find that I end up buying many things but use none of them. This is the one product that I've consistently been using. Whenever I am lazy and don't use it, I notice I get more acne and small breakouts. When I am using it regularly, nothing! I never have an issue with the measuring spoon. Please continue creating this because I love it.

I selected this product to get rid of my dark spots from sun damage. I've only been using it every other day for two weeks. But I swear I see MORE dark spots. Could it be because it is getting deeper? THis is so concerning I don't know whether to continue with product or not. Anyone else have this issue??????

This product doesn't make sense to me. Why not provide the correct scoope size instead of us having to guess what a quarter scoop is? Or why not just make a 5% niacinamide serum instead for those of us who can't tolerate the 10% serum? So I can't use the powder because there's no way to accurately measure, or the serum because it's too strong of a percentage.

The powders smell is not very pleasant, however other than that its great!

I bought this and right away was confused by the directions. It did not come with the scoop it said was provided so I had to wing how much to use, which I dont like. Based on this, I will continue to use until my face either doesn't change or goes flaming red. Thanks The Ordinary, you are exactly that.

Unfortunately, I always have this problem with white powder (plz see attached) on my face after using 100% niacinamide powder, I mix this powder well in the palm of my hand with 4-5 drops of hyaluronic acid 2%+B5. But After applying it, this product leaves behind a white powder. Please advise me, what is the cause of this problem? Thanks

After using the niacinamide serum for many years and it helping clear my skin, I wanted more of it. And I use about half a scoop and I've used it for almost 2 years now and nothing bad has happened and my skin loves it. Also I see ppl complaining about not being able to use all of it before it expires. You can use it in other things, dissolve a bunch in your serums or toners or I make my own toners sometimes and I add a bunch of it in there. It's versatile! Right now and probably forever I mix it with the snail musin serum from CosRx.

I got this 2 days before homecoming and it cleared up my skin so well in little time I use the tiniest amount less than it says to use and mixed it with my face cleanser that never worked that good. I will never stop buying this product and has such a good price too!

I bought niacinamide powder 20 g from Morocco, the expiry date in both the coverage and the jar was removed I think it is expired. my questions are : It is possible to track the product given that I can't find the batch number? Could the ordinary niacinamide powder be used even if the product is expired? it will be safe and still efficient?

I've been using TO's 100% Niacinamide Powder for a year or two now, and it's absolutely wonderful. I used to be a huge fan of the Niacinamide + Zinc serum, but decided to give this product a try when it first came out, and have not gone back. When I first purchased this, I initially mixed it in with my moisturizer (both AM/PM), or with TO's Marine Hyaluronics, and both worked really well. I have since then switched over to combining it with COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Power Essence and still use it both AM/PM. The extra hydration and power of niacinamide have been working well together for me. I highly recommend this product, especially if you're looking to combining two steps in your skincare routine!

Why wouldn't the scoop be the exact measurement instead of messing with it making sure it's a quarter of a scoop.. seems like you'll use too much or take longer than necessary playing with an extra step. I don't know. I like to be sure of dose.

7 level scoops is about 1.5g. When added to 30mls serum of your choice (I choose buffet+copper) then you have the clinically recommended dose (5%) of niacinamide to enjoy. No irritation or dryness. Dissolves easily. What's not to like.

I've always been a good skin product user. I've been pretty religious with my Vitamin A, glycolic and retinolic but I've never really been satisfied with the smoothness of my skin. I have large pores, and your basic ruddy bumpy skin. I started adding this to my glycolic acid and I find my skin to be noticeably smoother and the pores seem quite a bit smaller.

I love it but be careful to use just a little bit because too much is irritating. I can use it everyday if it's just a little :) It helps me regulate production sebum blend in the acid hyaluronic serum

As am was going through menopause, my adult acne kicked in with a vengeance (worse than when I was a teen). This is a part of my daily regimen and mix it with The Buffet with Copper Peptides. I apply it after cleansing and before The Hyralonic Acid HA moisturizer. It has helped in saving my skin! I haven't had any major acne since using this.

So I have been using the liquid Niacinamide since fall 2019 and it has done wonders for the texture of my skin. Milia, blackheads, lines… you name it, it's made such a difference and the price point isn't one you can argue w. Anyway, I love all things the ordinary and am down to try something new. I saw this and had to have it. Once it came, I really hesitated bc I didn't quite know what to do with it, even after reading the instructions and previous reviews. Plus, I loved the liquid so much, I felt stuck. Anyways, I ended up mixing it with the hyaluronic acid serum that I keep in the freezer. OMG. Omg omg Omgggg. Every single issue with my skin has been addressed 100%. Like, I can't EVEN. I am in love and that's it! Never going back! It's true what others have said about the spoon, even tho it's superrrrrr small you still only need 1/3 of it. making an even smaller spoon would be great but it's a small thing in the scheme of it all. And yes, the jar IS NOT FILLED to the top but seriously, you need such a small amount I can't imagine going thru this quickly. I use it only at night as I prefer to use minimal products during the day under my make up: strictly face wash, toner and moisturizer. But you could even use it every other night. This is a game changer like I've never seen! It's out of stock now but set your alerts people bc it's worth the wait and every penny!

I love using this product and mixing it in with my serums at night- my skin is so much smoother and my pores are smaller (holy grail product for me tbh). When I realised that the expiry date is ridiculously short, I gave my sister half to put in an empty bottle, and we share it. I also now mix it into my body lotion. I would be a lot more annoyed at the awkward packaging size/expiry if this wasn't such an affordable amazing product.

I bought this product last month and the expiration date is 12/21. It seems that I will not have time to use it and I will have to throw it away.
