I love this moisturizer! I got a deluxe sample recently and was hesitant to use it when I opened the sample jar. The consistency looked dried out and old. I thought I had gotten a bad sample batch but boy was I wrong! This is a very thick and rich consistency moisturizer. It scoops out like a cleansing balm but rubs into the skin so luxuriously and beautifully. My skin felt hydrated and glowing! I plan to buy the full size as soon as I finish up the moisturizers I am using now. The Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Moisturizer is my current night routine go-to and the Tatcha Dewy Skin Moisturizer is what I use in the day time. The Murad Intense Recovery cream will be my next day and night cream. :)
i first got this as a gift and then bought it three more times so ive been using it for awhile. the first three containers i used were bought in store and i absolutely loved it. the cream itself was firm but would just melt into your skin and feel just heavenly, you only needed a little bit. so even though it's a little pricy it does last a few months and it wasn't greasy. I used it mostly at night and would wake up to plump hydrated skin. but this last container the color is different, the cream is not nearly as firm, it feels greasy, and the worst part my skin doesn't feel hydrated. I have to use more to get the same hydrated feeling. I'm truly hoping I got a bad batch and the cream formula hasn't change.

I have a had time understanding why this is called a cream. I feel like it's more of a balm that you have to scoop out and warm in your hands to apply to your face. I had to come read the reviews to make sure I didn't have a bad batch of it. anyway, I have extremely dry, sensitive skin and have a had time finding products that are moisturizing enough. This balm (cream) feels and smells wonderful. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed with the right amount of moisture. It does leave a bit of a "glow" but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's greasy. I have had no issues using it over other products either. While it is expensive, I feel it's worth the cost.

When the Philosophy brand PM moisturizer formula changed, I looked for something deeply moisturizing yet light (as I get acne easily). This is the best night moisturizer that won't cause breakouts and visibly reduces fine lines. Highly recommend!

I use Fresh overnight masks and I find my treatment products eventually pill throughout the night. Using this from Murad has my skin still glowing the next morning and does not pill with my other products that I layer. I also get microneedling done so this was great to use for the healing process. A little does go a long way and goes on like butter! I wouldn't use for daytime.

I have used the product for three days and I see the change in my skin already.

The tester in the store was different than what I got. Mine was very hard. I had to use my nail to scrape it out. Then it fell to the floor. Also, the product feels good at first but didn't last long.

I love this moisturizer. It was first recommended to me by my sister. It is very dense but you don't have to dig out the product to apply. You just run your fingers over the top and and a small amount melts into your skin, keeping it moisturized and glowing all day. It makes it very easy to control how much you're using, as opposed to other moisturizers which I feel are easy to overuse. One jar lasts over a few months.

I usually add oil to my night moisturizer so I want a thick heavy duty cream. I was hoping this would be a new addition.. I can hardly even get this cream out of the jar with a scoop. When I warm it up in my hands it still has several lumps that takes forever if I want to work them all out. Not sure if bad batch as I could never find a tester anywhere.

I start by washing my face with the Acne cleanser than apply the acne control treatment and finish up with this recovery moisturizer. It can be oily at 1st bt once it absorbs the product it really feels hydrated. Even your makeup looks so smooth not bumpy or dry. It last up to 5 month you really don't need a lot to get your whole face.

Love this product! Has helped heal my dry areas around my face as I have a combination skin while also not increasing the greasy/oily look on my forehead. Actually gives my skin a nice glow after I put it on. Like how I can just use my fingers to determine the amount of product to use which varies night/day. I also really like the blue color, something about it just feels calming.

Honestly, I tried several moisturizer and I this is the best one I've used. I have combo/dry, acne prone skin, and sensitive skin. I immediately saw a difference on my skin. It's more supple, super hydrated, and less sensitive. And best part is, I didn't break out from this. I love matte foundations so when I use this before makeup…my make up looks waaaay better!!! I use this twice a day and I'm loving it. If you have same skin type like mines, try it! You won't regret it!

This cream is very soothing. It's lightweight and keeps the skin refreshed and moisturized. This is definitely a must have. A dime size is really all you need and it lasts a long time.

My eyes swelled! I made extra sure I stayed outside the brow and cheek bones (eye socket) and used it alone with none of my usual serums the 2nd time I tried it because I wasn't sure if the Murad caused the swelling. It swelled my eyes even worse than the 1st time. They looked like I'd been punched in the face! The swelling went away a few hours after washing my face, but the skin looked really creepy until it shrunk back to normal. I don't know if it was good or moisturizing for the rest of my skin because I was focused on fixing my swollen eyes. I've never had that happen with any other product before or since then, thankfully.

This is everything I could want in a face and eye cream. It's thick but doesn't lay on the skin heavy. It hydrates, soothes and smoothes. I have combination, acne prone skin and this is like a one-trick-fix-all for me.

The first time I got this cream it worked really well the consistency was hard but not super hard. I tried other creams after I finished this bc it is expensive, however none of those moisturized the way this one does. Ultimately, I broke down got another jar but this newer jar the product does seem to be a bit more harder however with the heat of my body it does melt into my face!! Def recommend if you have extremely dry skin and my face stays moisturized all day

I use all kinds of Murad products and thought I would switch up my moisturizer. I got it home and it was like a little brick in the jar, I had to try to scrape some out with my fingernail. I did an online chat with Murad and they said it is supposed to be a "gel-like" consistency. I returned it.

It is supposed to be a cream, but it is so hard that I can't get any out of the jar.

Ny skin type is normal, but during the winter I get so dry and I gave this a try since I saw Karen (iluvsarahii) talk about and OMG AMAZING!! You're skin feels it right away!! This is worth the price.

I use nightly and my skin is soft and my redness is not quit as bad. But the balm cream is hard I had to buy makeup spatula to remove the balm. Then I have to run between my fingers so it will melt into skin with out rubbing my cheeks so hard. The picture shows it is thick but a little creamer. Mine was not like the picture

I have oily, acne prone but also sensitive skin. This cream is amazing to not only moisturize my skin but it also calms and restores my skins barrier. I only use at nighttime because it's very thick and has an oily texture once absorbed into skin. Pricey but worth it. Probably great for people with rosecea!

It's so tough to find products that work for my dry, sensitive skin without stinging or just not doing the job. This cream is exactly what I've been looking for: soothing, moisturizing, nourishing. I use it morning and night. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful cream. Expensive but worth it. If you have troubled skin/damaged barrier, this is great. This is a holy grail.

Do you have dry sensitive skin? Buy this! Also, to the people saying it pills, please keep in mind to put your serums/oils on BEFORE your moisturizer. I wait a few minutes after I put on TO Azecial acid to apply this. I've noticed my redness go down and cystic acne reduce. Buy this!!

I had a serious hormonal break out on my chin. I'm talking the entire thing was filled with white heads. Well like the smart lady I am I decided to use a ton of acne treatments to clear this break out. Although I did clear the break out I also took half the skin off of my face. I was a dry patch disaster and skin was just flaking off of me. I found a sample of this in my make up organizer and slapped it on. Within 2 uses I had no more dry patches or flakes. I'm using it at night right now to recover the damage I did. Hopefully I'm all good in a few days because it's my birthday 😩
