Short report: Its simple but gets hot quick and stays hot, the features work well, great for short hair but you need the longer one for long hair, expect a tiny learning curve but it is worth it. Full report: My stylist recommended this brand to me and I am a fan. This tool was exactly what I needed- it heats up fast and stays hot, the outside stays cool thanks to the fan (low risk of burning myself major ++), the cord is long and thick, the tool itself weighs next to nothing, and it is under $100. I have short hair for the first time in forever so my ancient tools needed an update and this thing was perfect- it replaced a straightener and my wide curling iron and let me splurge on a hair dryer (which is what matters most imho). THE GOOD: It is basically a solid hair straightener with a cool blast feature. This feature 'sets' the curl or wave immediately, letting you pin it or leave it hanging without burning yourself or getting your neck all sweaty. You can curl tighter or looser depending on your movement, bump or flip ends, and quickly tame cowlicks and bangs. Thats it. Its simple but works! ...if you know what you are doing. If you are used to curling with a straight iron then this will feel amazing but if not then there is like a 20 min learning curve but it is worth it! (and honestly applies to all straighteners so learn once and do forever) -It is a perfectly neutral pink, not a huge eye sore -it is sooooo light, I never thought I would care but I realized I could do my whole hair without needing to give my wrists a break -It heats up quickly and automatically shuts off after a certain time THE BAD: HOWEVER. If you have LONG HAIR aka PAST YOUR SHOULDERS (and, like me, have a lot of it) then do NOT get this tool. this guy would've been useless to me a month ago when my hair was past my chest. Maybe if your hair is fine or you don't have much then ok BUT FEAR NOT- They sell a longer version on their website, I will upgrade to that one when I get there and this one will transition to live on as my travel tool. Love this lil guy. -The iron doesnt open very wide, which I admit my older tool probably had a hinge issue, but I wish this opened wider to feed hair easier (also why this isnt a good match for long thicker hair) THE THINGS OF NOTE, but ok it at this price point: The two buttons are sensitive and their size and position is right where I tend to place my hand when rotating it. I'm learning my way around it, but can throw you off. (Maybe its my hands? I wear size medium winter gloves...?) -The fan does make noise, but it is not very loud and you can turn it on and off. I actually love it. it reminds my clumsy self that a hot tool is there and to turn it off. -Please at least skim the manual to read about cleaning and maintaining it, its easy and will make sure your money was well spent.
this item looks cheap bc it is cheap it should be sold at a toy store to use on barbie dolls or something.dont waste your money this product doesnt isnt worth it the fan is annoying the buttons are overly sensitve and since its so small when your using it too style your hand is constantly hitting the buttons so the temp will drop down to 280 and you wont know it until you notice its not curling at all. not to mention it smells not like burning hair smell the the product itself smells funky maybe thats why the fan was added? the curls look like ringlets with a bent flat side going down each. you cant put much hair in it bc of how small it is its would literally take you hours to do by the time your done the "curls " you did first are now bent looking strands.i wouldent recommend using it to straighten your hair either its doesnt do a very good jobyoud have to do it in really small sections it would take forever. Im returning it tomorrow

I had high hopes for this. I have fine hair that loses curl pretty quickly. I thought the cooling as we go would be perfect. Nope. My hair lost curl immediately. Even faster than usual. I watched videos thinking maybe I was doing something wrong and I was doing everything right. It is super easy to use. I'm disappointed. 😟

I really was hoping this would work. I tried using twice and it did nothing. Curls never held left hair looking fuzzy.

I thought this product was going to be wonderful by some of the reviews. I used it to go to a wedding. My hair was frizzy and flat within an hour. It did not hold the curl and made my hair look in terrible condition. I will be returning!

A great purchase ( investment) in a hair care (styling) product.

Didn't curl or straighten my hair. Small pieces, bigger pieces just didn't do the job. Super bummed.

I wanted this to work. It is lightweight and supposedly can straighten or curl. Unfortunately, it did neither. I was hoping the cooling fan would help hold curls..it doesn't. Even on hottest setting curls don't last and straightening sucks. The buttons are in horrible locations and too easy to turn off. I found myself turning off fan or turning down temp without realizing due to button location. Needless to say I am returning it.

This product left my hair frizzy and my hair got snagged in the product. I returned it.

Love the functunality. However, my hair ended up dried out and frizzy after using a few times. Had no shine. I have fine hair but a lot of it and was careful to use on a low heat setting and use a heat protectant as well. Disappointed, returning.

I really wanted to love this after seeing ads with fine, thin hair like mine. It heats up quickly however does not grab my hair. My hair slides right through the plates. Maybe it works best on medium gair? I returned.

L'ange Hair did it again with their genius marketing tactics and their targeted ads. Let's just say, from my experience, that is all this company has going for them considering every product I have tried is lacking in quality and performance. My 1st purchase was a haul of hair care items. They left my hair feeling wrecked and disgusting. Three years later, I finally decided to try again by purchasing their Le Duo, curling iron and flat iron in one with cooling vents. Of course their ads were full of girls who were getting perfect and effortless curls. This was definitely not my experience with using the tool, and I'm not sure its cooling vents were even doing anything (other than making a bunch of noise in my ear). I am a licensed cosmetologist, and I'm here to say, DO NOT spend your money on these over priced, drug store quality hair products!! Do yourself a favor and spend it on actual quality professional products. Your hair will thank you.

I'm pretty happy with it. I am not coordinated with curling my hair and never do it because it's such a pain. My hair is long and it typically takes forever. This didn't take as much effort and left beautiful curls.

I kept hitting the buttons. It would be better if they were in a different place. I cannot curl my hair with a flat iron, so I tried this since it works like a curling iron. I did a better job than with a flat iron but it still looked horrible.

It doesn't curl or straighten, it seems like the plates don't even grab my hair. The buttons are too sensative. I am stuck with a very expansive item that I will never use.

Takes me less than 10 minutes to curl or straighten my whole head. & curls hold all day with no hairspray! 10 out of 10 stars and definitely worth the extra money!
Mkrunner from IL
I found this to work until it just doesn't. I think at a certain point it just stops heating evenly so you end up with lopsided curls. Just not the best.

I'm not good at doing hair other than maybe straightening, but I love my hair when it's curled, so I wanted to learn. I researched many different curlers, and this is what I found, and I'm glad I did. This wand is so easy to use and so pretty.

I really was hoping to love this, I think the idea of it is much better than it's actual performance, it all makes sense but it doesn't heat hot enough. It may be better suited for short and thinner hair. I have very thick, Polynesian hair and it takes me twice as long straitening with the L'ange Le Duo 360 Airflow Styler than when I use my old faithful straightener, and sadly it doesn't even straighten my hair well. Unfortunately I need to return, I didn't even finish my whole head. My hair kept getting caught in the clasp of the straightener. So bummed!
Aubrey from NY
This made my hair so frizzy. I don't think it heats up as high as it says it is because it also didn't curl my hair well.
Karina P from Temple, TX
Its a good concept. However, for my liking, the clamp could open wider. Also the plates could be a little longer.
Kelz from Tennessee
I have very thick, wavy, course hair, this doesn't get hot enough it pulled my hair out. I really wanted this to work!
Megan from Michigan
Overall, I find this product to work good. I find it easier to curl my hair than to straighten it. I have thicker hair. I section my hair when styling so it's not as much hair to work with, and straightening still doesn't work as well as curling. It heats up quickly which is a plus. It does pull on my hair at times and will pull a few strands out. But that is avoidable by just making sure to watch how much of a section of hair is used and making sure it's not too far down (towards the hinge).

I love this iron. After my old iron wore out, I was looking for a product that could straighten and curl my hair and this works great! It can pull hair a bit if not held correctly so that takes a bit of practice. I appreciate that it heats up quickly and has an air set setting to keep my hair from staying hot for too long.

I have never been able to curl my hair with a straightener and I've used many straighteners, but with this, I was able to get amazing results on my first try!!! I thought the learning curve was going to be difficult with this and it really wasn't. With more time using this, I have a feeling I'm gonna love it even more!!! believe me, i bought this thinking i would end up returning. my hair is also longer, a little passed the bra clasp and it works. a curler and straightener in one!!
