I was first introduced to this line from my cousin, who has dense curly hair. My hair is fine, wavy when air-dried, and has finally grown back out to be beautifully virgin hair. I used her Innersense, which included the scalp scrub, her hair bath made for thick hair, and the conditioner. I fell in love immediately and purchased the entire line for fine hair. To be fair, I actually prefer the scent of the thick hair shampoo and conditioner, but that's honestly being as critical as I can be because this one smells great as well. I might even prefer the scent of the other one because it was the first one I tried that made me fall in love with the line. Anyway, this shampoo feels so good on my scalp and works well through my hair. You only need a VERY small amount, and to get it to work into a better lather, you just add a little bit more water at a time. A little goes a long way. My hair is halfway down my back and it doesn't take much to reach all of it. It smells great, and my hair feels so clean and LOOKS amazing just letting it air dry (which was never the case before and especially when my hair was always bleached). I tend to have an itchy scalp every few months so this with the scalp scrub makes a match made in heaven! If you're unsure, I suggest the travel sized bottles and you'll see quickly whether you love it or not!
I really wanted these products to work, but they are just not the right formula for my 2b curls. My hair is very fine, there's a lot of it, and I live in a mostly dry climate. They do smell amazing, though! I was disappointed, but I can't really recommend them. Fortunately, I did buy several of the travel sizes so I could try them out. I tried using different amounts of product starting with a quarter size for my longer hair, then both increasing and decreasing the amounts. I tried different combinations of the styling products, playing around with the order in which I applied them. I tried it for 2 1/2 weeks. One product that I got, (Harmonic Healing Oil) I am using once a week as a deep moisturizing treatment (see list below) and that seems to be going well. List of what I tried: Pure Harmony Hairbath (too drying for my hair type) Pure Inspiration Daily Conditioner (much much MUCH too drying for me) Sweet Spirit Leave In Conditioner (I really wanted this one to work but it wasn't capable of detangling my really tangly/fine hair, it was too drying, it smells really really good tho) I Create Lift Volumizing Foam (I tried this on my roots, which go flat due to the weight of my hair, this product weighed them down too much and then my curl went straight because of the weight of the product, I think?) Quiet Calm Curl Control (this styling product also didn't work for me, again having the combo of weighing my hair down too much but without keeping my curls from frizzing) Harmonic Healing Oil (I have been using this at night once a week on my hair and scalp as a deep moisturizer and it smells amazing and works great. The weight of the oil doesn't weight my hair down too much and after I wash and condition the next morning, my hair is much softer and better moisturized.)

I have a sensitive scalp and though this product would be great because it is an organic product. However, after the first use my scalp was extremely itchy. I didnt think at first it was the shampoo because i tend to get an itchy scalp ( however not to this degree). After the second use and the itchiness intensified i knew it was this shampoo. Im not sure if it is the fragrance added in but i have never expereinced this itchy scalp before where it keeps me up at night.

I've been using this for years now and after experimenting I've found that a little goes a long way. Hair is just past shoulders with a 3c curl pattern. I use 3-4 pumps and make sure to work it through with a lot of water. I detangle in the shower so as I'm working the product through my hair I add a drizzle of water if I feel like a section needs more slip. I lightly rinse my scalp so nothing is sitting on my skin and add in a little gel I'm done!

I bought this on sale, because at $3 per ounce it's expensive for me. In addition, you have to cut open the conditioner bottle to get out the last 1.3 ounces. Or, throw away $4. The conditioner is SO very thick, that the last bit will not come out of the bottle otherwise. I almost threw the bottle away, but I was curious about how much was left so I experimented and found 1.3 ounces. This should really be in a jar. It was difficult to cut open, so this isn't something I want to do ever again. As for the conditioner, I always appreciate conscious beauty products. But this will leave hair weighed down if you use too much. I had to make sure i used very little conditioner. For what I had to go through to get 4 more uses from the last 1.3 ounces, i probably wont buy the conditioner again.

I love the hair bath and conditioner combo. I discovered this brand from my first curly cut. The hair bath cleanses all the build uo of products used prior to washing and followed up with the conditioner, with its great slip, locks in moisture and leaves my curls BOUNCING. I have 3c/4a/4b (think cree summers) just past shoulder length, shrinkage is above my shoulder. Volume is my hairs superpower! This combo is a must. It is pricey but worth it.
I am so happy I discovered this product from my first curly cut. The hairbath paired with the conditioner is a match made in curly heaven. I have 3c/4a maybe even 4b sections. The smell is fantastic, the lather is great and leaves my hair feeling clean after the first rinse although i still do 2. Its pricey but worth it!

I would say I have 3a curls and the hair bath and conditioner is what I started off on when I was looking for clean ingredients. My curls LOVE IT! Sometimes I don't even need a full pump of the conditioner

This smells like if orange dreamsicles grew on trees in the garden of Eden. It also lathers and cleanses very nicely. This feels like a luxury product.

I switched to Innersense from Shu Umera Urban Moisture due to price and product integrity (this is about half the cost of my previous go-to brand). I support this company because they are cruelty free, and truly dedicated to using petroleum-free products without silicones, resins or plastics and you can recognize all the ingredients. I have only used this shampoo for the past two months. It cleans my scalp and hair without stripping it of natural oils. My scalp isn't dried out but definitely healthy and cleansed. I have mostly fine hair to the middle of my back, with some courser red hairs, so it shows greasiness fairly easily. I usually go about 3 days between washes and it looks fine. My hair is healthy and bouncy until the next wash. I'm replacing the bottle after only two months, so it doesn't last as long as I'd hope. I require more shampoo than normal for a good lather-probably about three dime-sized dollops on the top, sides and back of my head. The product suggests lathering between hands before applying, which does help. The smell is pleasant. It's citrus forward with a hint of vanilla. The scent doesn't linger long, so once your hair is dried, it's very neutral. I prefer something more perfum-y that I can smell throughout the day, but this is great for those who are sensitive to scent. That said, due to the ingredients and performance, I'll still be replacing this with another bottle!
I have long, dense but mostly fine 1B hair, with some courser red hairs. I don't color my hair but blow dry with heat at least 3 times or more a week. I was using the Shu Umera Urban Moisture set prior to this for years, but switched over due to cost. This is about half the price. The results are nearly identical, I will say the conditioner slightly LESS hydrating. The conditioner is rich but can rinse out more easily leaving less protection behind. This doesn't weight down my fine hair, and leaves it looking healthy. The Pure Harmony shampoo doesn't strip natural oils and the Daily Inspiration Conditioner is a great every day conditioner. However, I'd recommend a weekly hair mask for added moisture. If my hair were color-treated, I'd go for the Hydrating Cream bath instead, and still use the Pure Harmony shampoo (the most clarifying). The scent is refreshing and pleasant but doesn't linger too long after drying. I love the smell of freshly washed hair throughout the day but unfortunately this dissipates quickly. Great for people sensitive to smell, though! I trust this company. It doesn't use silicone, resists, and plastics which create the false illusion of moisture. It's a sustainable brand that doesn't use petroleum products and isn't owned by L'Oreal like most products, so I feel good supporting it

This shampoo gave me the worst dandruff I have ever had in my life, and that's saying a lot. I have hard water and live in a very dry climate. I have struggled with dry/itchy scalp for years. My hair is thick, wavy, and uncolored. This shampoo made my hair feel almost gummy. It never felt clean and had no shine. I did an ACV rinse to remove any buildup from previous products before starting. I double shampoo and I keep the conditioner (also Innersense) away from my scalp. None of these tricks improved the outcome. Day one, my ends felt fuzzy. Not frizzy or dry but like cheap conditioner fuzzy. Day two, my ends felt better but my scalp was already oily - like day 3-4 oily. By the middle of day two I had SO many flakes on my shirt just from running my hands through my hair you would think I had been scratching my scalp raw. The evening of day two was when the itchiness set in. I couldn't get past day two without washing. I am a licensed cosmetologist. I have heard great things about Innersense and I like the conditioners. Unfortunately this shampoo was horrible for me and not worth the price. Will not be purchasing again or recommending to any clients.

I started using this after my hairstylist used this on my hair. It's very expensive for the size of the bottle, especially because it takes around 10 pumps for me. I originally really liked this conditioner because it made my dry curls soft. I recently started using it every few washes and realized that it's causing a lot of hair loss. I thought it was just post partum hair loss, but I lost a lot less when I wasn't washing with this conditioner. Needless to say I won't be buying this product anymore.

I have long, thick and wavy hair. Also, my scaulp is very oily. With this said, I feel like with this shampoo I need to use more than I would with another brand shampoo. I tried since it's advertised to be hydrating, and it is, don't get me wrong, I just can't get past the fact that I need to wash my hair way more times for it to feel clean. If you have hair like mine I would suggest washing with another shampoo first.

I have super dense, long curly/coily hair which was always a pain to shampoo. To this day, it feels like wash day will last hours. But then I remember that I did myself the favor of buying this shampoo. It is absolutely incredible! This shampoo cleanses and softens your hair all at the same time. I was washing my hair (full! of knots!) and this shampoo was helping me detangle before i even got to that step. Moreover, its sooo hydrating! I boticed the weather was making my hair all frizzy and dry, so I went back to using this shampoo. WOW! Incredible. In three weeks I couldnt beleive how soft and well hydrated my hair was. I love to experiment with products but honestly I feel like this is the best and I want to be loyal to it

I love this shampoo so much. it makes my hair feel so moisturized and clumps my curls so well. The only thing that i don't like is the price but honestly its worth it.

I have fine to medium 4c hair. I adore this shampoo. My natural curls stylist put me on to this when I got my first silk press and it is amazing. It gives my hair so much hydration and after every wash my hair feels super light and soft and gives provides it more volume since I have baby fine hair. The smells is light and floral; not overwhelming at all. I also have sensitive skin and eczema and I have NO irritation what so ever. My only problem is that it is a little more than what I'm use to spending on shampoo but your hair deserves this treatment < 3

I have been using a combo of the hydrating cream hairbath, hydrating cream conditioner, and i create hold, and I have been a little disappointed with the results based on the cost. My hair still feels frizzy sometimes even on Day 1, and I feel like my roots never get fully clean (I am fairly active so my scalp gets fairly sweating with working out). I had waited about a year to invest fully in these products because of cost, and I am still not sure if they are right for me, or if I just need to be using them differently.

I love the way my hair feels since I've been using Innersense products. My hair is shiny and feels fuller.
