I have tried glue-in, microbeads, and clip-ins but could never get so many separate clip-ins working. The Locks & Mane set couldn't be easier. Two simple pieces. Fast and easy and the color blended perfectly with my highlighted/lowlighted hair. The quality of the hair is excellent. Its thick and shiny right through to the ends. I have wavy hair but sometimes straighten it. I was able to curl these extensions for natural waves and also tried blowing them out and using my straightener. Perfect result. Really impressed!!Most Helpful Critical ReviewDefinitely WOULD NOT purchase againThese were great for first month they were awesome, even brought them to my hair girl to have them dyed and they came out perfect!! After about 5 weeks one of the teeth from the middle clip on the smaller of the 2 wefts (I only use the smaller one because the bigger one is way to big and bulky and it looks so dumb with my fine hair)!! So within another week and tooth broke off in the middle. So I tried wearing them with just the outer clips attached and it ripped my hair clean off my scalp in both places....like literally smooth like it just got shaved at a professional barber. Soooo that didnt help my hair it made it a million times worse....cant even pull it bad now in a ponytail because it looks absolutely disgusting!!I contacted customer service and like everytime I contact Ulta customer service with even the slightest question they give me a hard time, put me on hold, then "accidentally" hang up on me. So Im going to attempt to teach myself how to sew, then attempt to sew the clips off the big weft onto the smaller one I use. I liked them so much that I decided to upgrade. I bought these because I'm a long-time Ulta fan and I figured that if Ulta carried them, they were probably a safe bet. They did not melt when I used heat tools, like some reviewers mentioned, but they didn't hold a bend either. I got these more for thickness than length, but I had the same problems with the clip-ins as my own hair - clung close to my scalp all the way down to the ends that were stringy and stuck out all over the place, so no added volume. No amount of combing or brushing would make the clip-in hair blend with my own hair.Wanted to feel feminine again3YouMakeMeSad from FLI have been losing my hair due to medical issues. After a lot of research, I purchased the Locks and Mane 12" extensions. I was aware that the color would not be as advertised when they arrived so I was prepared with my purple shampoo and conditioner. I was NOT prepared for two clips that were only sewn in on one side each, a BLUE THREAD sewn into the larger weft, and an hour of myself and then my husband desperately trying to get these extensions to stay in my hair. It wasn't even that they don't have enough hair to grab onto - it's that the tiny corner clips are nearly impossible to close and the large weft itself is either ridiculously long or I've got a ridiculously tiny head. Either way, I'm devastated, feel cheated, and I've lost hope. Now my only option is to spend $1,700 on professionally done extensions, which I've realized would be well worth that money compared to this. The wefts and clips are very thick and the hair feels very coarse and dry. I straightened them to see if they would match my hair length and the hair melted onto my straightener. For the price of these extensions I expected a better product, will be returning to store.
