I much prefer to use this in the morning as it was almost too mattifying at night (and almost a waste). That's when I use my usual night cream. But this is AMAZING in the day! It's very oil absorbing and you can tell immediately. It is a little sticky after it absorbs & I've been using 3 pumps. The stickiness goes away after awhile & it handles foundation and concealer well. Yesterday I used with makeup and today not; my face felt good even with the makeup on and still hydrated. The smell is not crazy over powering either, but pleasant and fresh. I love this brand usually, so I think I might have found a new lotion! But the mattifying moisturizer left my skin feeling dry and tight. I switched to this one to save money over my previous favorite brand. My skin always felt soft and moisturizer without being oily. I was hoping for the same result with this one, but it hasn't lived up to those expectations. I've also been experiencing breakouts on my cheeks and forehead since shortly after purchasing this product. I don't know if the product itself is to blame, or the overall change in my skincare routine.
