I've cleansed my face with water only for 50 years or so. The reason, chemicals in soaps, shampoos, make up, wipes, cleansing pads etc. caused my eyes to swell shut and burned my face. In 2016 a friend reposted a FB post from Beekman Boys and I checked it out. After researching goats milk soap and Beekmans, I ordered the Pure Goat Milk Bar Soap. My face loved this soap! No swollen eyes, no red face, just a pure clean feeling. I've used it every day for 2 years. My face looks great. I now give Pure Goat Milk Bar Soap as birthday and Christmas gifts. When I get a complement on my skin I advertise for the NY Goats & Boys who are now part of my life. I read the ingredients, and there are some that are considered health hazards, and a ton of ingredients overall when compared to real pure soap. I'm really stunned by the recommendation that this soap be used for sensitive skin and eczema when it contains Tetrasodium Etidronate, which the EWG rates as having some concern for skin irritation.
