I have tried a few sulfur based acne products before and found them to be a nice alternative for my combo skin type because they are not overly drying but are effective and especially help with smaller surface level zits. This product is no exception and did a good job of easily targeting acne without drying out my skin. The product comes in a glass bottle that needs to be shaken before using and should be applied with an applicator like a qtip or cotton pad. I have reusable qtip made from silicone that worked great for applying this and didn't produce excess waste. As with any sulfur product it does have a potent smell that is noticeable if I apply it near my nose. I let the pink liquid dry on my skin after applying it and then applied my sunscreen, and after about a day my pimples were noticeably smaller or had disappeared.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot for meThis one is a definite no for me. Upon opening it, it smells just like rubbing alcohol. And then you find the second ingredient is alcohol. While the other ingredients include great acne fighters, the alcohol in this makes me not want to use it because all it's going to do is dry the entire area it's applied to. Also check the directions, because I shook it the first time I opened it, and well, you aren't suppose to do that so oops. When I did let it settle and apply, I didn't find it did anything for my blemish. The directions state it needs at least 2 hours and my zit looked the same before and after. Maybe it would be better over night, but I'm not sure. I also don't like that the ingredients encourage wastefulness by using a cotton swab. I prefer products that don't great unnecessary waste, so maybe this could be repackaged in something like a mascara tube or concealer bottle with a wand. It's a small bottle with pink sediment at the bottom, and you dip a q-tip in to dry out any incoming pimples. I've been focusing this on the cystic, underneath kind of pimples I've been getting around the chin. So far, this has not done much for that but does seem to have better success at reducing zits that are closer to the surface.
