Moments after I sprayed it my husband said from another room "smells pretty!" It smells expensive, pretty and clean but has a slightly heavy note, maybe has a hint of musk? On the sample package it says "floriental woody fragrance" so perhaps I'm referring to the woody notes. So for me it's definitely an evening/night out perfume. It's not one I would wear everyday, but definitely a go to for dinner with my husband or a night out. It makes me want to dress up! Also, one spray of the scent lasts for a good amount of time. I can still subtly smell it hours later. The vanilla bourbon dry down is seriously amazing paired with the jasmine and black currant. This perfume truly smells just like what it says it does. I was disappointed by how the vanilla played out in the scent, and how it settled on my skin. When the initial hype hit, she was NOT the one for me. But recently, the scent has been smelling so good to me. A boozy vanilla, warm comforting savory scent notes. Maybe my body chemistry has shifted? Because I love her now. She has great sillage and longevity.
