It has a great scent, and leaves my hair soft and frizz-free, but easy to style. Some other similarly marketed conditioners leave my hair feeling gritty or stiff, or worse, to slick to style. This conditioner leaves hair beautifully soft without much styling, but with enough texture to scrunch style in. It seems to work well with hot tools as well, and my style holds well while being soft and touchable. It brushes out nicely on the second day without feeling greasy, even when applied to the roots and not just the ends. Hair also brushes out nicely after using this and spending a windy day at the beach. I will definitely purchase this again and will be purchasing their shampoo. I was excited to try Sugar Beach shampoo and conditioner for a little volume/texture boost. However, after 3 months of use, my hair is frizzy, dry, and damaged with no enhanced texture or lifted roots to show for it. I've continued to use the Verb hydrating mask once a week, Olaplex No3 once a week, a clarifying shampoo once a month, and protective, moisturizing styling products as usual while using these products. I had better results with Biolage Volumebloom and even some drug store texturizing/volumizing options like Not Your Mothers. I give this product two stars because it didn't irritate my scalp, cause hairfall, or leave much buildup. It uses sugar cane as a key ingredient to deeply condition and soften your hair. It also is very moisturizing, and it has not been damaging to my hair! I love how this product does not make my hair feel super oily like other conditioners, but it deeply moisturizes it. After using it, my hair is not frizzy, it maintains its natural curls and waves, and it feel super soft! My hair feels like its being revitalized from its previous damaged state after use. I also really love the smell, it is sweet and beachy, and it's just so great. A little really does go a long way with this conditioner, and the price is very fair for this reason. I used in conjunction w the shampoo from the same line and my hair is SO soft. I have thick but fine hair and it has the perfect amount of volume without being oily or weighed down. It's also pin-straight naturally and I don't use heat styling often, so I tried this out to get some texture and it WORKED. My layers are actually visible. I'm obsessed. My hair was so soft and shiny after only one wash, and there's actual movement and texture in my hair. It doesn't say to leave it in, but I usually leave it in for about 3-5 minutes before rinsing.
