My quest to find the perfect concealer hasn't ended yet but I still like this concealer. I mainly like that it has clean ingredients in it. It also isn't super drying like the tarte shape tape concealer but unlike that concealer, it's really light coverage. It kinda doesn't look like you're wearing concealer although you are. It has a skin like finish vs cakey which is nice, but it definitely does eventually crease when I checked it a few hours later. I only used one layer in my picture and you can see that it helps a little with my dark circles and makes it a little brighter, but not drastically. You can build it to medium not full coverage. The more you build, the easier it is to crease. If you have super dark circles under your eyes this probably would not be the best concealer for you, but luckily my dark circles aren't terrible. This concealer looks like it has a cooler tint to it and I'm more warmer, but it's pretty neutral and matches my skin tone quite well. Fair/light 330 is definitely my shade. When it's all said and done, this concealer isn't perfect but it works for someone like me with dry skin around their eyes and a little bit of dark circles. I would recommend this hydrating concealer and will continue to use it.
I admit I hadnt used CoverGirl in many many years, but I was chosen to test and review a few complimentary items from Influenster: the Clean Fresh Pressed Powder and the Clean Fresh Hydrating Concealer. Both are labeled Vegan & Cruelty Free, so thats definitely an plus before I even tried applying them. I like to try them exactly as theyre packaged and not with any other applicators like beauty blenders and brushes. To start, I washed my face and moisturized and then laid down a bit of the hydrating concealer under my eyes, along my nose, and a bit around my mouth to cover a few hyperpigmentation spots. Coverage for those places are very important to me in a concealer, so if they cant provide coverage then its not the concealer for me. The first thing I noticed was that it was a bit of a watery consistency, so I knew right away this was going to be a light concealer and not the intensive concealers I require for my personal use. It didnt really cover the areas I needed coverage very well, even after building up the product in those places. I do think that this would be a great concealer for someone with a more even skin tone who is going for a sheer coverage look. After I applied the Hydrating Concealer, I then picked up the Clean Fresh Pressed Powder and began to set the concealer. I noticed right away that the shade I had been sent was too dark for my skin, despite choosing the shade Light Pale. The application sponge was very rough and it didnt really pick up the product effectively. I dont recommend using it without a brush. Both products are meant for a clean and simple natural look, with sheer coverage. I dont think Ill use them again, but I am impressed with how far CoverGirl has come from my middle school and early high school days of oily foundations and talc-y pressed powders (the Clean Fresh Pressed Powder is labeled as being talc-free!).

Good when you don't wanna look like you're wearing make up. Cover alll blemishes while leaving a NATURAL finish. Shade range is okay. And packaging is fine.

I have a lot of skin allergies. This originally came up on my skinsafe list as a good concealer for me. However, when I went to buy in the store I noticed that they have changed the formula to include coconut which I am allergic to. Such a disappointment ☹️

Its pretty good with full coverage, and pretty much average drugstore concealer. It has no scent are blends nicely, the finished product looks natural too! And its super easy to apply to face.

I personally didn't love it. Its dries very fast.

What a waste of money. This concealer hides nothing. It's a lightweight foundation that doesn't stick to blemishes, camouflage shadows or dark spots.

i love covergirl but for some reason no matter the primer i used, sponge (wet and dry), brush, or skin prep i did or used there would always be a patch that didnt pick up the conceler but other than that the consistency was so nice and smooth!

While its good for concealing its best to use for brightening or highlighting. Easy to blend as well.

I love the skin milk from this range so decided to try the concealer. Unfortunately this is no good. It applies streaky and there was absolutely no coverage. When I tried to build it up, it just picked up on itself and started to go patchy. Then throughout the day I notice it looks really dry and unflattering under my eyes. It also gets separated in the tube constantly and has to be remixed often.

Perfect for mature, acne, prone skin over 50 I hope you never change the ingredients because they match up with the acne.org list of non-pore clogging ingredients. also, this is perfect for mature skin to cover, redness, or blemish, and it doesn't dry and flake.Thank you for this product 😊❤️

Porcelain matches perfect. It's hydrating and love it along with the Covergirl Milk Foundation and Clean powder. Also it fragrance free. All three products.

Not sure why this stuff malfunctions so much on me. When I blend this out it looks completely grainy and unblended. It also creates bare patches that get bigger the more I try to blend into them. The coverage is not buildable either. I tried it with two different sponges.

Great for spot treatments during breakouts, especially if you're concerned about making them worse. I like this underneath a tinted moisturizer. Blended nicely too!

The best concealer I have ever tried! One of the only products I've tried that has been able to cover up my dark circles. A little watery, but it blends very nicely into the skin with a damp beauty blender.

It can be a little Cakey, but it always puts on perfectly. There's also nice packaging and lots of product with an amazing variety of color!

I don't wear any makeup besides this cover-up! It skin matches great, it coverups some of the biggest acne blemishes, but it's still so lightweight, and not cakey. Love the travel size tube and applicator! ❤️

This stuff is good coverage but doesn't blend. I tried it twice. And it is not hydrating. After the first application it will look glowy and hydrating, but after a few hours it will look super dry. I like it for spot coverage but absolutely not around the eyes. It pilled near the inner corner of my eyes as I was trying to conceal the dark shadows there. I won't repurchase and I do not recommend for under the eyes. Covergirl Clean Fresh Hydrating Concealer

I use this concealer everyday! It's not too heavy and it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing anything. It covers everything I need it to. It's not a full coverage but it gets the job done!

Love this hydrating concealer. It works wonders on my dry under eyes. I love a good drugstore makeup option. Great on the budget. Lasts a while. Compares well against high end expensive products.

I've had my eye on this concealer since it's launch, & I'm very excited to test it out today. This is supposed to be a 'hydrating' concealer with a totally vegan composition. I found it to have a very subtle 'makeup-like' scent to it. The concealer is housed in a tube with a small doefoot applicator. The texture of the formula is very soft & unstructured. The consistency is very runny, & serum-like. I applied it with a dense concealer brush, & found it to be incredibly easy to blend-out. Immediately after dry-down, it felt very light on my skin, like I wasn't wearing makeup at all. It resulted in a very dewy, glowing undereye look. I didn't find it to crease on me at all. I achieved light coverage with this concealer, & feel that it would be a great formula to consider for 'no-makeup' makeup days. I think dry/normal/combo skin would most benefit from this concealer.

Nice medium coverage, decently priced. I like using this with the Covergirl skin milk. I prefer this for undereyes than for blemishes, but it is buildable.

This product stays on all day without setting powder and no creasing! I tested this out at an outdoor wedding in the summer and was very impressed with how well this held up!

I purchased the Covergirl hydrating concealer awhile back and I've used it a few times. The concealer works really well- it does cover up dark circles decently well. I think it's considered light to medium coverage. That's the only thing that I think could be improved upon- to make this concealer a little thicker. It's perfect for a light makeup day though. I do recommend this concealer!
