My apartment is dry, so my need for decent hydration is pretty high on my skincare priority list. This didn't feel as hydrating as I'd hoped, but it's ultimately fine. I mostly use tinted balms so that I don't look washed out in Zoom meetings (bc my colleagues totally care about my lips in their blurry screens lol). This had that old school lipstick scent that I hate. I don't know how better to describe it. I smelled it and I was hit with the memories of being a little girl, stealing her older sister's makeup (and doing a terrible job). It was a natural tint, which I like, because it didn't look out of place on the rest of my makeup free face. As I grow up (I'm now 27), I'm trying to be more mindful of ingredients in my products, and that was part of what made me look into Honest beauty. I wouldn't actually buy this again though. Scent is more important to me...
At first, I said it was 4 stars. Beautiful color from the Lychee Fruit one, I didn't smell the weird smell everyone else did or the weird taste, and I did have to re-apply a lot more frequently than normal because it sunk into my lips very quickly during my first week of using it, but I was ok with that because of the other pros… Well, after using it for 3 weeks, I now understand what everyone was saying. There is this bizarre taste I get in my mouth, I smell that same taste when I wear it, and my lips are so dry after using this that I threw it away. I don't know if it just went bad fast or if it takes a bit of product use to get down to a weird spot, or what it is, but I'm definitely not buying it again unless they reformulate, and I can't recommend it.

I love that i can actually trust this company to make products that are safe for my body (and safe for pregnancy)! This goes on smooth and has a nice, subtle color. I have the summer melon and I love it. I think I'll get the Lychee next. I am also ecstatic about the price point of this brand, the fact that it's clean and doesn't break the bank is why I'll be a customer for life.

I HATE lipstick. I HATE sticky lipgloss. I own about 1019287374 tubes and sticks and containers of lip wear - and dislike 99%. And then came this! Wow! Game changer. Light tint. Buildable. Soft. Not sticky. HIGHLY recommend and currently purchasing four more colors

I've had this in fruit punch for awhile now, and its the only coral/warm pink lip product that looks good with my skin tone! Just bought it in plum drop too, and i love the feel, how buildable it is, and the wash of color! They also work to layer on top of drier lip products if you like to mix and match you colors like i do!

I love a tinted lip balm and this is my favorite so far. It's nourishing, light, and has the perfect amount of color. I ordered blood orange and fruit punch and love them both.

I am so glad I took a chance on this and I will definitely be purchasing again. My lips are constantly dry so I tend to avoid liquid lipsticks and mostly use chapsticks/balms, but I dont like the waxy feel a lot of them have and I'm often underwhelmed by color choices if they even have a tinted option. This balm glides on and spreads a consistant wash of color on my lips. Some products leave really concentrated spots of pigment on dry/chapped areas, but not this one. It is buildable, but dont expect full coverage if thats what you are into. Very happy overall. Bought Fruit Punch and Blood Orange. Both are lovely shades on the coral side.

The color Lychee Fruit is subtle, fresh, and natural as it goes on very sheer. It feels light-medium weight on the lips. Not sticky. Not waxy. I detect the slightest hint of product taste, but no scent to speak of. Very comfortable to wear. Easy to reapply without a mirror. Honestly, it's absolutely gorgeous on the lips, and I plan to use up the whole tube. My only issue is that I feel like I'm applying it more often than I normally would apply a lip balm because it's not as moisturizing as let's say EOS lip balm. If it were that level of moisturizing, it would be a holy grail. I feel like clean beauty at this price point with the colors I specifically love, it's hard to not feel compelled to repurchase after I'm out or try other colors despite it not being as moisturizing as I expected it to be.

I bought this as a Black Honey dupe but it smells not so great and feels super waxy thick, but not in a moisturizing sort of way. The tint of color is so sheer it wasn't worth it.

I love glosses, lip oils and balms, and was searching online for a vegan list and free of harsh chemicals. This balm wasn't for me, though. The color isn't the same in person as it is in the photo, it smelled like play-dough, and it felt so heavy on the lips, like a thin but hard wax. I immediately returned it.

This is really nice. Goes on smooth. Not glossy. Not sticky. Gives a slight tinge of color. I really like it.

I bought this on a whim (I'm really not much of a lipstick/lipgloss person) I wanted a product that could multi-task. I got the shade fruit punch and it is subtle but noticeable and feels very moisturizing on my lips! I'm glad I tried this product!

It feels very moisturizing and lightweight, and nice tint of color. The one thing I don't like is the smell, it reminds me of play-doh!

Honest Beauty makes excellent products. Love this lip balm, easy to use while at work (I'm a teacher and just keep in my pocket). I have the lychee fruit color and love that it's just a simple nude close to my natural lip color. I can use it easily for layering and blending another lip product into it when I'm going out. Do need to reapply after a couple hours but I prefer that instead of having a lip color stained on my lips all day. Easy to remove, or just wear off throughout the day.

bought this on a whim for a new chapstick/ lip balm. it goes on smoothly, and feels moisturizing at first. it does the job for a little, but does not last long at all and needs reapplied often. i think it's a great price and it's good for light hydration throughout the day, but if your lips need tlc this isn't for you. maybe it works better for others so not gonna knock it down too heavy :)

It works well to soften lips. Doesn't have staying power.

I have very dry lips and this was not very moisturizing. I had to use another lip balm on top of this. I purchased fruit punch and blood orange. The color is not strong and doesn't last very long. Don't waste your money on this product. There are many other tinted lip balms that provide more color and are more moisturizing.

Wow this lip balm is so good! I was hesitant but I read the description and reviews and decided to try it out and its so good!! I choose the plum color and its sheer but buildable. If your lips have color this is the one you want for a "your lips but better"! The moisture lasts a few hours after the balm is gone but overall it's a solid tinted lip balm! I actually bought a second one, "lychee fruit" and the color is more of a light tan color, for my complexion its a hair from washing me out but its a pretty color with a bit of shimmer, so I still use it!

I don't wear full-on lipstick often, but I'm pale and need color on my lips to look alive. My lips are also chronically dry, and on top of that, I'm hyper-sensitive to artificial fragrance and my lips break out in tiny, painful bumps even with basic Chapstick. All of this to say that I'm constantly searching for great lip balms, especially tinted ones. Honest Beauty tinted lip balm is now 100% my holy grail. It's moisturizing and doesn't irritate my lips or cling to dry spots, and it goes on quite pigmented. I don't expect incredible performance from a balm, but it can last for several hours and, best of all, it wears off evenly and leaves behind a stain on my lips so that I look natural and alive between applications. I have the colors Blood Orange and Plum Drop, and they both look great with my pale, neutral-undertone skin. Plum Drop is basically a dupe for Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey but is actually moisturizing (the Clinique dries me out a bit). I will definitely be purchasing more colors, and I'm crossing my fingers that this will never be discontinued!

I love the sheer color of this balm. It's nice for a no makeup look and very moisturizing.

This is a new purse staple- this balm will be on me ALWAYS. I got it in multiple colors and they all look lovely, but more importantly, feel lovely and very moisturizing. Perfect classic tinted balm. I can definitely see myself buying these again and again.

Consistency of a thin Chapstick. Left my lips feeling dry after about an hour. There are better, less expensive options, like Blistex balm ( abd it has SPF). For a colored balm, I found the Elf product had more color payoff and staying power. The Blood Orange shade looked more dark reddish pink on me (I have medium light skin with golden undertones).

Really like this balm. Its not greasy, it's really perfect texture actually. Moisturizing with a lovely light tint. Will buy again

This tinted balm is a staple for me now! It has a thick but silky feel and lasts for hours. I got the shade Summer Melon and it is a true blue-pink, not orange like many vegan pinks. The pigmentation is perfect and looks natural and not cakey. The balm doesn't have scent other than faint vanilla. There's a generous amount of product in the bullet so I hope it will last the summer. Looking forward to collecting the other shades!

I've really been leaning towards tinted balms lately, and i really like this one. I just received the color fruit punch. I was hoping it would be a brighter color for summer, but its more of a muted coral. it wasn't what I was looking for, but I still like it. It really feels like a balm, which I love, and has the slightest bit of color so you feel put together. Also applies very easy! No mirror needed. I'd like to try additional colors. I'm fair skinned (but i consistenly sport a spray tan during summer months, so that affects the lip color appearance), dark hair, dark green eyes.
