It's a cotton candy-ish smell, but not overwhelmingly powerful. It lingers forever, I've never gotten so many compliments on how great my hair smells!! I have waist length, thick THICK, wavy/curly hair. It's pretty coarse, hard to comb through, and I tend to have drier ends, which split often, even with regular trims. I had just gotten a trim before starting the Extreme Length regiment. I typically only wash my hair about every 3-5 days, just depending on how it feels. I kept my same hair care routine while sampling the line. This conditioner has been a absolute dream!! After using the Extreme Length shampoo, I follow with the conditioner. Normally I have to use quite a large amount of conditioner, but just a little of this stuff goes a long way! I always use a Wet brush in shower to help distribute the conditioner through my thick hair, and pile it on my head to sit for a few minutes before rinsing. The creamy conditioner lets the brush glide through my hair like a hot knife through butter! It also rinses clean and easy quickly, and leaves the most amazing scent behind! It transforms my normally unmanageable hair, in to soft and luscious locks, even after my hair has started to dry, which is usually the hardest time for me to comb through it, and I've had so much less breakage! I take biotin vitamins, and the line also contains biotin, which it great for hair and nails. I've been using the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in for almost a month now, and my normally hard to manage coarse hair feels soft, and my ends aren't splitting nearly as much as before. I don't know if it's related, but it must be, because my nails are also much healthier, and growing like crazy! The formula is fantastic!Most Helpful Critical ReviewOne of the WORST conditionersI'm really only giving 2 stars because the product smells nice. I have thin, fine hair that's mid back length. The conditioner didn't feel moisturizing when I applied it, almost feeling thick and tacky. I let it sit for at least 3 minutes. Washed it out. After towel drying, it was difficult to brush out considering I generously used the conditioner. I applied my usual thermal spray and blow dried. My hair was getting tangled as I blow dried. After it was completely dry I couldn't run my hands through my hair without pieces catching somewhere. Even some breakage. Overall my hair felt dry and dull. It didn't help with frizz or static. It was so bad I actually went back and rewashed my hair and used the product I was previously using. I have had good luck with Redkin products in the past and this was by far one of the worst I've ever tried especially for the price. Even though this isn't for frizzy hair, it's made the most difference. My hair is practically smooth, no out of place hair frizzying around d me. Also, this is the first time I didn't have to use 2x the product as shampoo. This conditioner just smooths through my hair.
