Would purchase AGAIN!So I've always had issues with primers not sticking to my skin & making my foundation look patchy on my nose. Before trying this primer, my go-to primer was Bobbi Brown's Primer + Mattifier, which is 10/10 but I wanted to venture out on primer (again lol). So I live in South TX where the weather is humid hot. With this primer, my makeup looked so smooth and fresh and my makeup didn't look patchy!!! I got so many compliments. I have super oily skin/not acne prone. Even if I don't have blemish-prone skin, this has willowherb which helps in reducing acne/flare ups. This was a good purchase, honestly. I normally don't rate or comment on purchases but this one was def worth. The scent is pleasant and the product feels great on my skin! Feels somewhat cool and refreshing! I love that it is cruelty free and made WITHOUT silicon, parabens, and sulfates. I am a big lover of skin care and knowing what's in the products I am introducing to my skincare/makeup routines, so knowing this product has great ingredients makes me happy I purchased it!Most Helpful Critical ReviewHorrible Breakouts. Makeup dries upI use the IT cosmetics cc cream and I never really needed a primer with it because it ha a pretty good grip. But since most influencers promote Tula I thought I'd give the primer a try when it was on sale. Big mistake. I have never had breakouts like this before. Painful under the skin acne that took over a week to clear up. I had heard some friend says Tula didn't work for them and now I know why. Aside from my face being completely wrecked the makeup didn't even stay put. I noticed after 5 hours of wear the foundation (that is set with urban decay all nighter powder and setting spray) had dissolved off my face. I don't like to use full coverage foundation or anything even remotely cakey. This primer achieves all of my goals — it's very cooling, which is nice, it evens my skin tone and locks in my AM skincare hydration, and it makes my light coverage foundation go on and stay even better, especially when using a blender sponge. I used to use smash box photo finish primer and prefer this one — you can tell the difference between a primer made by a makeup company versus a skincare company.
