I bought a full size after trying it in last holiday's color promotion and that's a first. I use it on minimal days with a bit of concealer and lip balm, swept on like blush and over lids, or on more made-up days as a bit of sheen to soften a smoky eye. It's not something I'd usually spend on-I spend here on skincare, primarily and gladly, and enjoy the color promotions, but was happy to find this available in a full size. It makes mature skin (nearly 48) glow as though I'd been sailing in the afternoon, and has been a boon through the dark winter months. If the sheen worries you (and it's not glittery or anything like it-more like softly burnished antique gold with a warm glow that also has cool hues of rose-the chemists there are magicians- use a big brush and a little product, and give yourself the gift of glowing skin that you work so hard to take care of with product and SPF and hats...it's gorgeous. I couldn't be more delighted, and going into summer (with a medical condition that doesn't permit any sun exposure) under hats and SPF 100 it's a wonderful feeling to know I'll look as healthy as I'm keeping my internals. All highlighter seem to be the same nowadays. Just a lot of sparkles and it doesn't even matter what color you get it'll end up looking the same. I now am 100% over powder highlighters. I'm not sure the photos on the website do the color justice. It really is a pretty gold with a touch of rose. It works very well on my pale skin. It also seems to have good lasting power and is still in place at the end of the day. It's also great to use on the eyes. Very pretty. I also like the mirror in the compact. It's a smooth baked gelee powder that doesn't emphasize texture or contain glitter or shimmer and blends perfectly with a fluffy brush. The color is a warm-ish pinky bronze that would be absolutely stunning on medium and deep skintones but is also beautiful on those of us that may or may not be vampires.
