I was a little hesitant at first based on the mixed reviews, but the allure of a scalp detox was just too tempting so I decided to take the chance. I LOVED using this product! My scalp feels so clean even days after using it. I think this product would especially be great for people who use a lot of styling products, especially oils. I am deducting a star because I found there is a key step missing from the instructions, and that's probably why so many people in the reviews had issues - WET YOUR HAIR BEFORE USING! If you don't wet it, the product just bounces off and never touches your roots or scalp. When your hair is wet it will lather up and stick to your hair, making it much easier to reach the scalp.
I love the scent of this and the idea of the product. But I'm not sure it works as intended? The scrub beads are VERY large and don't dissolve well in water. Even after my shampoo and condition- I still had a lot of the scrub beads to pick out of my hair. Definitely not a product I'll be reordering.

I'd love to know how this works in my hair, but unfortunately it's so thick that I can't get any out of the tube. Truly it won't come out. I'll have to cut it open to get any product and hope it doesn't go bad.

I have used this product in the past and found that if gently strips my hair of excess oil. Since my hair is fine and thin, it has worked well for me without causing damage to my hair. In fact, my hair is in the best condition it has ever been.

i have curly hair with a dry flakey scalp so i decided to try this out because of the price and i loved the way it smelled. unfortunately it was way too drying for my hair, also, the beads were so large i felt like it wasnt even reaching my scalp so i felt like i had to use a lot of product.

As the titles says, I wish I could try it, but the component makes it difficult to get any product out. I've tried other scrubs with a similar consistency and component and have never run across this issue. Please fix it.

I returned this after 1 use. I have seborrheic dermatitis along my hairline. I wanted to use this to help lift those hard to remove flakes. The salt is too chunky and I had to shampoo 3 times to get the charcoal out. It was so chunky that I can't tell if it did anything because I was afraid to rub too hard and cause injury to my scalp.

I bought this product because I love rosemary for hair and also wanted to find a cruelty free product. A lot of other reviews talk about how its hard to get the product on the scalp for thick hair. Well, I have thin, straight hair and it was also quite difficult for me to target my scalp as well. I also had to cut the tube open and transfer the scrub into a jar because it is impossible to get the product out of the tube it comes in. Additionally, some of the salt chunks are so large its pretty abrasive to the scalp. Finally, I found myself picking out the charcoal beads all day, they do not dissolve, and even with my thin straight hair they were stubborn to come out.

I liked the product itself but after one use, it expanded in the tube somehow, and I was completely unable to use it again. The tube was completely clogged. I had to cut open the package in order to use more of it, and I ended up losing a LOT of product when I tried to transfer it to another container. The scrub itself is ok, smells good, tingles and leaves my scalp feeling fresh - but felt like a waste since I lost so much product after only being able to use it properly once.

I enjoy this scrub and it smells amazing. But it does have a strong smell so if you are sensitive to strong smells you may want to steer away. The only downside for me is that it gets stuck in the tube so I'd prefer to have it in a container like body scrubs are or make the opening on the tube wider.

I love this scrub so much! It smells good, it's grainy and it does the job of cleaning my scalp after a week full of product build up. The only thing that I don't like is that some of the salt pieces are too big. I feel like it would be beneficial with smaller pieces but more of them in order to exfoliate the scalp.

I love this stuff! Leaves my hair feeling extra soft and clean. I use it once a week before shampooing to help avoid any build up

First, the packaging does not work for the product. The scrubbing beads clog up the bottle, So nothing comes out. I squeezed mine so hard that it actually ripped the bottle open on the other side. on the positive side, I was much easier to just squeeze product out of the gaping hole at the other end. 🤷🏽♀️ also, this product doesn't really work for anyone with thick and/or curly hair. It's near impossible to get the product anywhere near your scalp (especially since you can't squeeze it straight from the bottle onto your scalp), so it pretty much just sits on your hair. So much of the product was wasted the few times I got to use it. And then, it's near impossible to get all of the little beads rinsed out! I have 3c curls, And I was picking the beads out for days! I could see how this might be helpful for anyone with thin and straight hair--But I also think it will be much better in a tub as opposed to a tube.

IF you are able to squeeze any product from the tube, it works well. It's very refreshing on the scalp and feels great. It needs to be repackaged and put it in a jar so it can be scooped out. I'm going to have to try to cut the end of the tube to see if I can get the product out that way. I would definitely recommend if repackaged but I can recommend something that you can't get out of it's container.

Recently started my hair care journey, I've been oiling my hair which is giving me great results. With that being said, the first couple of months I started oiling, my hair looked and felt great, was growing crazy fast as well. It's not until now, I am in my 3rd month and I've noticed my hair hasn't been growing as fast and has been somewhat getting oily quicker than usual. safe to say my scalp needed a bit of a refresher. First scalp scrub ever and my scalp feels awesome! So clean and soft. My hair dried with so much volume at my roots after using this. Definitely cleanses scalp efficiently! Love that it has great ingredients and is very affordable! Super satisfying rubbing this into your scalp, lathers well. I have long 2b hair for reference. only con I have is similar to many reviews on here, the product clogs up bottle. I made it work little by little by putting the lid back on shaking it a couple times. Works so well for the price, I don't even mind the packaging!

I LOVED this product. In one use I felt a difference. However, all it was was one use. After the first time it became impossible to get any product out of the tube and it wasn't worth breaking a nail over.

I like this product. Heed the warnings in the reviews: it is almost impossible to get out of the tube! I ended up cutting the tube open and putting the contents into a small jar. It smells nice. I haven't noticed much change to my scalp (I have been dealing with some itching/flaking) but it hasn't hurt either. I haven't had any problems rinsing it out of my hair, but I have moderately thick, straight hair. Would buy again just for the treat yourself experience.

I really liked this product at first, but it was very difficult to squeeze anything out of the tube after the first couple of uses. I can't figure out what it causing it. Most of the product is still in the tube, but it is just not working anymore.

The product easily gets stuck when your disposing it. Mine ripped on the other side of the tube. Overall the product did help my scalp but will not be purchasing due to packaging

I usually never write reviews for anything but I literally could not stop touching my roots after using this they were so soft. During the winter my skin gets dry including my scalp to the point that certain parts of my scalp will get flakey/scaley. I turned my head upside down in the shower and scrubbed this on my scalp and it works so well. My scalp feels so clean and my roots were so soft. The best pro I can see about this product is that my scalp doesn't produce as much oil now that the buildup and dryness is gone so I don't have to wash my hair as often and it doesn't look like somebody just cooked bacon on top of my head between hair wash days. Also saw a lot of complaints about the bottle not squeezing out product not sure if they've changed it since but I didn't have that problem at all it came out effortlessly. Overall would recommend. :)

Love to use this if I have a bit of a build up if I took an extra day between washes. Smells good and feels nice. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the faulty bottle. Every few salt clumps is too large to fit through the tube opening. It gets clogged constantly. I had to cut the end off and just scoop it out. It should be in a tub!!

This scrub worked great for my hair. I have short, wavy, very thick hair with medium water porosity. I use this by parting my hair and applying it directly to my scalp, then rubbing with my fingertips in circular motions, then thoroughly rinse. I did Not need to shampoo. I did conditioning as usual. My scapl was so clean. It has a nice mint smell also!

I got this as a gift for xmas as well as the serum (the serum is nice). As soon as I put some scrub on my hand I was like - no way this is going on my scalp. I can only imagine how the giant chunks of salt and charcoal would stick and tangle in my coarse/curly hair! It smells nice and I just used it as a hand scrub instead.

I found that the large salt crystals made this product too chunky to effectively reach my scalp, and a little too abrasive. I also found it hard to fully rinse from my roots, and it made my roots feel too dry after rinsing. However, I started using this as an underarm scrub to help with buildup from natural deodorant in natural underarm hair, and for that purpose it works amazing. My pits feel so squeaky clean and refreshed, with not a trace of buildup. I think it misses the mark for its intended use, but if you are looking for an underarm scrub, I love this product and would repurchase.
