Initially I bought this to prolong my makeup, and to look less powdery. While it does do that, it's not my favorite for setting my makeup. I prefer Mac fix+ but for the price, it does what it's suppose to. However, I started using this to prep my skin before my makeup and I LOVE it. I was having a consistent breakout for the past two months and I noticed when I started using this my breakouts had almost stopped. Maybe it's a coincidence, but my skin is super sensitive so I'm going to assume it's helping. It also makes my makeup look so smooth when applying beforehand. My face instantly feels tight and dry after I spray it on. It smells like a stronger Mario badescu rose water spray mixed with rubbing alcohol. I haven't noticed a difference of it 'fixing' my base. It makes my makeup melt into the skin and leaves a beautiful satin finish that lasts all day. It has a strong powdery rose scent—it smells JUST like my late grandmother's bathroom smelled, so I personally love it but if you don't like rose stay far away. The mister is a sprayer—one of the most aggressive I've ever tried and the only reason this product gets four stars out of five. I tried using a different spray bottle (the Colourpop pretty fresh bottle, which has a phenomenal mister), but it was aggressive there too, so I think it's just a heavy fluid that doesn't mist well. But the product is so good I will continue to use and will most likely repurchase.
