My entire skincare regimen is now Strivectin but I hadn't tried this serum. Several months ago I decided to add it to my regimen and, wow, best decision ever! This serum has absolutely helped tighten and tone my face. Prior to starting it, my face felt like it was getting "flabby" and my jowls were starting to sag. Everything seemed to be drooping. However, after using this serum consistently day & night for the past couple of months, I notice that my face looks more firm and even my jawline seems more defined. It also *feels* more toned. I absolutely LOVE the results! This serum feels a bit thick & difficult to spread out at first. However, after a few seconds the warmth of my fingers sort of melts it and it begins to feel luxuriously soft & smooth as you massage it into your face. It almost feels like a light oil except it's not oily & doesn't leave your skin feeling slick, sticky. It absorbs quickly & you can immediately feel your skin tightening slightly but your skin doesn't feel tight or dry. It is lightly scented but not overpowering and the fragrance is the same as other products in the same line. Now, I do use this serum in conjunction with their Tighten & Lift face cream, neck cream, eye serum & mask and they all work together beautifully. I absolutely adore what this regimen does for my skin; I never imagined my skin could once again look so toned, plump & healthy! That being said, I strongly believe that you can use this serum on it's own and still achieve outstanding results. Lastly, I understand that my skin will never again look how it did in my 20's. However, Strivectin has given me skin I can love & feel proud of in my 40's & THAT is what beauty is all about. I 100% recommend this serum to anyone who wants their face to look more tightened & toned. Use it consistently & you'll be amazed by Strivectin too!Most Helpful Critical ReviewI want the old formula back :(I've been using the old product for years, and confidently purchased the new version without checking the ingredients and assuming the formula is, if changed in any way, better. Unfortunately some perfuming ingredients were added in this new formula and my skin doesn't like them (that's why I ended up checking ingredients...). I wish I could still purchase the old version - I need to go out there and find another firming product as this new one doesn't work for me. I am flummoxed that instead of cleaning the formulas Strivectin adds all kind of perfumes in more products ... I used to have all my skin regimen from Strivectin , I'm now down to two products.
