This product is unique as it 'highlights' or brightens the skin without ANY shimmer/glitter/sparkle etc. looks great on days when you're just throwing on some gimme brow/ bb cream/ lip gloss; it adds dimension to your face without looking like you're wearing 'highlighter' This product works best on guys and gals that have Uber dry skin. Like every moisturizer, primer , foundation, etc. doesn't make a difference you still have dry flaky areas of skin, then this product is for you! Also FYI the sponge isn't meant to be used while still in the tube. You're supposed to remove it and use it just like you would any other beauty blender...Most Helpful Critical ReviewNothing fantastic about this productThe product is okay... it isn't something that is worth the splurge or that you have to get. The coverage is sheer because it's like a base for the tarte shape tape concealer. When applied by itself, it serves no justice in covering your under eyes, so it makes the point useless unless you buy the shape tape concealer. I haven't experimented with other concealers if they are compatible with the glow wand, so to be safe you would have to use what they offer. On days where you want to look dewy and glowy then it is a nice product and it doesn't crease which is wonderful. It's so finely milled that it can be used under makeup (like the elf halo or the Charlotte tillbury wand) or it can be used as highlighter over makeup and doesn't pick up the foundation. Or this can be used as an under eye base before concealer to brighten up the under eyes as it has some pigment. I have dry skin and this just ALWAYS looks so good no matter how I use it. 3rd time buying this. If you know & love the auric glow lust this is the same thing in a smaller packaging with a tiny doe foot. Mine also came with a teeny tiny beauty blender on one end & I have to say I ADORE it. I use this under the eye like a concealer. I tap it out with the little blender & it reflects just the perfect amount of light under my aging eyes. Cannot recommend this enough! That said I think their newer product sold in larger packaging might be a similar product at a better price point.
