I got a free sample of this in the mail. It smells good, easy to use and absorbs well. It has a thin gel like consistency. I have only used it once so far so I don't know if it actually does anything and there's not enough in the sample to find out.
I have been wanting to use La Roche Posay for a while as I am a skincare addict! I was so excited. I have sensitive skin, which per the description is safe for sensitive skin. However, the next morning, my eyes are swollen, I have exorbitant amount of red patchiness, itching and burning. In my opinion, this is NOT, at all, for sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, I would recommend you stay away from this product. Same for their retinol. I had a similar reaction to that. The Hyaluronic Acid, however, seems to be fine for sensitive skin albeit has a strong perfume fragrance.

so far this product is ok. I do notice it has a very strong almost perfume scent to it which I hate. the dropper is also a waste of time. it makes zero sense and the product ends up wasted outside the bottle. otherwise it seems fine. no change yet

I love the scent!

I don't use it as often as I should but when I do it makes my face feel luxurious and smooth. I use it in the morning after exfoliating before applying the matte moisturizer.

Love this serum I have been using it for about a year now. Definitely see brightening and plump skin but the one thing that has turned me off from this serum is 1 the price is on the high end but two it leaves an orange over cast. My hair line looks like I have a bad tan as well as where I end on my neck. I only use a few drops it goes a long way but definitely leaves a ring of orange especially where there's creases on the skin.

After about three weeks use, all this is due to my skin is turning it orange. Noticed the bottle has a place for an expiration date and lot number but it's empty. I peeled the label up, and there is no expiration date or lot number under that. My hands were turning orange from handling the Serum as well. Through the entire bottle away.

The Vitamin C is not in a package that keeps it stabilized like other brands even if stored properly. The stopper is messy and congeals at the top of the bottle and eventually after a few uses it starts turning darker orange and leaves a tint on my face (not sure of the reason to make the serum artificially orange) The smell is also terrible. Wouldnt recommend or purchase again

I have tried several other "affordable" vitamin C serums from various "drugstore" brands and none of them compare! I use several items from the La Roche-Posay line and this is the perfect addition. The serum goes on smooth and leaves your skin feeling soft, rather than "tacky" like other serums I have tried. Smell isn't overly strong, but there is a scent at application. I will definitely be keeping this in my daily line-up!

It took my skin about 1-2 months to get used to vitamin C (my skin was red and a little irritated), but after getting used to the product, I am seeing results! My skin looks healthier, brighter and smoother. The serum is scented but I love scents and I think it smells great! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to incorporate Vitamin C into their routine!

Bit of unsatisfactory outcome for me, I have mixed skin with oily t zone which got extremely oily after applying the product and acne flaring began

The biggest downfall of this product is the added fragrance. If I would've realized it was in these products I wouldn't have purchased them.

I noticed an immediate change in the brightness of my skin. I have tried other brands but will be staying with La Roche Posay

o I made the switch.. changed all my skin care from FAB to LRP and my skin has always been pretty flawless ocasional period pimples, I use the vitamin C in the AM, retinol in the PM and moisturizer 2 times a day, wanted to love it so bad but then I started to notice peeling that has never happened before, I started waiting longer between products as suggested hoping it would make all the difference, it unfortunately did not. My skin looks bumpy and keep having tiny break outs and honestly after two months not seeing any improvement in my skin which really sucks cause I wanted to love it so much and display it all cute but sadly I'm on the search for something that works for my skin again as I've never been much a serum type of girl 😞

I have not used it for a long time yet, but I don't like the bottle and the applicator never worked I threw it. Now I'm having to pour on my hand and waste product.

I have been using this serum for years--my skin shows the benefit-serum sinks into skin, apply sunscreen over, and make up stays put--

I bought this while in Europe and love it. It leave my skin soft, brighter and overall healthy looking. My skin feels very smooth and I find a use a manual exfoliant a lot less. I use the lipid barrier repair moisturizer as well and love the combo.

this serum oxidizes to self-tanner and will stain your shirts. the stains are difficult and time-consuming to remove. there is no warning about this on the package. I had to research online as to why my t-shirts were all stained an ugly rust orange after using this product.
the same goes for Roche Posay double repair SPF, which contains avobenzone. this one will also stain your shirts, as avobenzone reacts with iron in water to stain shirts.
Spend more money and buy skinceuticals. this brand does not stain

Pros: nice smell, feels nice going on, makes skin feel smooth. Serum itself gets 4.5/5 stars.
Cons: poorly designed stopper where the serum gets everywhere, it ends up congealed in the stopper and you waste so much of it. Despite storing it in the box (out of light) and at room temperature, my serum has oxidized and turned a dark brown and completely turned my skin orange. I still have half of the bottle left but will have to throw it out as it has now lost its efficacy. (Product design -bottle/stopper is what drops the rating down to 2 stars).

I really wanted to love this! I adore this brand and have had issues with some Vitamin C serums in the past, but i thought this one would be great. The texture is wonderful, but unfortunately it broke me out. Definitely patch test and be careful if your skin is more sensitive!

After my first bottle oxidized, i decided to give it another try and stored it in a dark place. It still oxidized only after a month and now i have half of the product left that i cannot use.
