I bought this on a whim at Ulta and totally got addicted. My face is combination, although I would get bad, irritated, dry skin patches from my makeup. Since using this stuff I haven't had any issues and my skin happy and healthy. I really believe it's that sativa blend that helps keep it calm. It is thick enough to hold moisture and thin enough to not feel greasy at the end of the day, only have 1 pimple or so during my cycle. When ulta stopped carrying it I was real upset because it's really the best I've ever had. Luckily, they still carry it on the site because I can't find it anywhere here locally.Most Helpful Critical Reviewhmm...Heres the thing, when you first open up this moisturizer you think, oh wow, this is thick, its going to be really moisturizing and heavy. Once you get it on, you think the same thing, and your skin feels really nice and moisturized! But after a few minutes your skin just feels really weird. Like its still kind of moisturized, but also dry feeling? Like almost tight when you move your face, but when you run your hand on it it feels somewhat moisturized still? I think that has to do with the witch hazel thats in it. When you read the key ingredients, youre like okay hemp oil, can calm irritation, great. Vitamin E, moisturizing, great. But witch hazel? Thats an astringent. Why is it in this moisturizer? Doesnt make sense to me. I've tried so many moisturizers and this one easily takes the cake. It keeps my skin hydrated all day without breaking me out and I'd even say my acne has improved! It doesn't leave me feeling oily like most intensive moisturizers do and it doesn't leave any kind of film or residue on my face. It's thick but adsorbs into skin quickly and looks great under makeup. My only complaint is the smell; I really appreciate how light the fragrance is and that there doesn't seem to be any added, but it isn't my favorite smelling product. If I use it as a final step, I can smell it for a little while after. Since it helped cured my acne I cant image being without it. even my husband compliments how it leaves my skin so soft. i used their Black African soap with this moisturizer and I have been acne free since. I love that it has witch hazel, vitamin E and its fragrance free. It has lasted me 4-6 months and i only use it after a shower or if my skin got really dry during the day.
