Personally I love these- yes the Velcro makes it a bit tough to take them out, the first few inches I just unroll them and then I'm able to slide them out. This is the only reason for 4 stars. Taking them out may be easier for people with finer hair. Also, I have highlighted hair and am used to flyways and breakage, so that doesn't really bother me, but I'm sure it could if you're looking for ultra-smoothness. I love big, bouncy hair and that's what I get with these. My hair is just above my shoulders, so I use the small ones at my crown, mediums in the middle and biggest on bottom. When they come down, it's all volume and bounce. The Velcro does work on its own in some places, in some places I use a clip. Overall, they've given me great hair that I love and I'll continue using them!! P.s. I bought 2 packs
I am writing now after ten minutes of actual terror trying to get one of the eight rollers out of my hair. My hair is long and fine, and seven of the eight rollers came out like a dream. However, there was one roller framing my face that refused to come out. Even though I had rolled it just like the others, there was no movement of any strand of hair, no matter what I tried. There was no "correct" direction to pull the hair... no "correct" angle... no "good piece" of hair to start with… no hair moved at all. It was very hard to hold back tears at this point because the only options I could imagine were either ripping out all this healthy hair or cutting out the roller about three inches from my scalp. When working on dry hair didn't work, I tried to use every "slippery" product I could think of: detangling spray, leave-in conditioner, and finally, Vaseline. I eventually got enough hair loose to begin to unroll the roller with my head still under running water in the sink. This was the most traumatic hair issue I have ever experienced. I will be returning this product and issuing a serious warning to anyone interested in adding a little volume to their ends after heat styling. I had read reviews that Velcro rollers were generally difficult to remove, but I thought I was immune because I have straight, silky, fine hair. If anything, I thought they wouldn't stay in well! Please do not try this product. I'm begging you. Not even once. Not even one roller. No product has EVER destroyed my hair like this. Please learn from me!

I understand the concept behind these however the rollers are unusable on their own. They will not stay in your hair and this should not be sold without clips to hold them in place. They also fell out as the heat from the blow dryer was applied (again, with proper clips to hold them in place this may not have happened). I have hair just below my shoulders and these barely gave any wave, curl or body. Super disappointing and I'm sure will end up in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. :/

I did not read the description correctly and was expecting more curl. However. I really like the smoother look of my hair after using the curlers. I am in my miss 70s with thick wavy hair.

These rollers work very well. Easy to use and puts great body and wave in my hair. I would definitely recommend them.

I have everything gadget for the hair in the world. I bought these and stopped dead in my tracks. These are easy to use and give your hair so much body. That's are a must for a quick way to style your hair with tons of volume.

it doesn't work if you have thick, straight, and fine hair that only holds a curl after being in foam rollers for 2 days to let them dry, or an hour after the highest heat setting and a hairspray helmet.

These were a disaster for my hair. I waited until my very long hair had mostly dried and then read the directions and figured it was pretty easy. I've never, ever had good luck with this kind of a roller because the velcro just sticks to color-treated hair and even thou I haven't had color on it since last year, it is still dry in nature and as soon as I put the last one in I said to myself "Self, I think these are going to be sooooo hard to get out of your head". I decided to wait it out and about a couple of hours later I'm back in the bathroom and yup!!!! they are pulling my hair out left and right and I am just so angry. I've been using Nutrafol for a while now and all my hard work is pulling out before my very eyes. Yike!!!! I don't have a camera, even on my phone to send you a picture but if you will believe me, you would see all the hair everywhere on the floor. So, no!!!!! Velcro isn't good for your hair.

My experience in using the rollers I've tried to explain to you many times. You don't read your emails, and I have not had a chance to use them and I want you to stop sending me emails all day long.

They tangled when I have to pull them out and I didn't notice much difference in my hair volume. I wanted a blowout look. But I do have really long hair so maybe that's why. Getting layers soon and hoping they work better then.

First time i used these, i didnt follow instructions. Second time, I did, and what a difference. I curl my hair first (eother a curling iron or blod dryer) then i roll these in my haor to set the curls.

Wish I wouldve just upgraded to heated curlers - these are terrible

Those just won't hold in my hair. I've got normal hair below the shoulders. You roll them, wet or dry, and half unrolls. It's real bad. Was in my younger days, still the same....

I am having a hard time keeping these in my hair. They want to unroll.

The thermal rollers add lift and volume to my fine hair. Convenient and easy to use, too.

they didn't work. only pulled my hair. could have used clips to hold them in place but nothing was included.

It works well but would be great if they come up with the hair clips too
It's a very high quality product, I loved it, I would appreciate it more if it comes with the clips as one full set.

I absolutely love these!! My hair has been so much better with them. I use after blowdrying to help set and give more lift and body, and I use for touchups. I have long hair past my elbows and I only use a small section for each roller, section smaller than the length of roller. I bought a second pack for when I want to do my whole head and not just top sections. The ceramic helps hold in heat and give you that bounce! I am careful and never have had an issue, they always give me great hair!

I was so excited when I saw these rollers and couldn't wait to try them. I am so disappointed! They tangled very easily in my hair and were tough to remove without feeling like I was ripping out my hair! Needless to say they will be going in the trash.

These are exactly like every other velcro roller I've ever used. They aren't great for long hair, one package isn't enough for a normal head of hair, and they just do not give enough result for the time and effort required. I wanted to love the thermal style but I was disappointed.

These are the easiest rollers.ever!!!! If you are thinking about ordering them, I would definitely recommend it!!
