A game changer for me. Consistency of use is key to seeing results with Vitamin C and I just couldn't do it when I was using the Vitamin C Suspension 23%...just too uncomfortable to use and took forever to absorb. This Vitamin F product proved to be a revelation: no irritation or burning sensation and is absorded quickly and completely by my skin. It is more expensive than the other products in the line but the resulting glowing and smooth skin make it all worth it. (I am a woman in my early 50s with normal to dry skin and I live in a cold climate.)
Good so far, lightweight and fast absorbing, but what is the Vitamin C derivative used in this? The name says Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (ATIP) but the ingredient list mentions Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (THD). Both are very good and very similar forms of Vitamin C BUT their molecular structure is different. Could you clarify please? Both are good forms so why not advertise the real form of vitamin C you're using? Thank you!

Vitamin C products sting my face and irritates it. This Vitamin C is acceptable to my face plus I like it.

This stuff smells really weird. It feels like it was collected from an oil spill. The texture is also unappealing, it feels like synthetic oil.

I love this product. It's THD which is a form of vitamin C. I don't have super sensitive skin as I've used at least 10% moisturizer and serums for years. If you haven't this might be to strong for you. This is an oil based product so use over water based ones and lock it in with a moisturizer. I use PTR camu camu moisturizer on top of this and put the caffeine eye serum under it. Sunscreen goes on top. That's my AM routine. Tip: If you're a vitamin C beginner, use something with under 10% Breakouts and irritated skin are due to the amount being to high for your skin to absorb.

I have sensitive skin and dry and acne prone and am 23 and just wanted something to brighten hydrate and reduce any early aging if any. This is amazing!!! I wear it every morning. I was out grocery shopping today and somebody came up to me (I had no makeup on) and said holy crap you have amazing skin. Like what?? Been using it for 3 weeks now.

I've been using this for a few months, I use it almost daily in my morning routine. First off, I am in love with how smooth and light this is. The scent is so mild but really refreshing. I quickly noticed an improvement in my skin tone and so I keep using it. I do have combination skin, but I don't find it makes my face oily, it absorbs so quickly. It's one of my favourite products so far.

I've been on the endless hunt for a vitamin c product that wouldn't irritate my persistent dermatitis. Not only has this improved the texture and clarity of my skin in just a few days, but hasn't irritated my current dermatitis breakout and has actually cleared it up 75%. Miracle serum.

This one has instantly effect, after 1-2 times used, my skin tone is brighten. However, I found my freckles are darker...Is it really suitable for daytime use?

It's an interesting product I use since a few weeks, before sleep, and after hyaluronic acid. But I have a question : is this oil compatible with botox injections ?

I've been using this off and on for a few months. It goes on nicely and my skin seems brighter the next morning. Reading some of the other reviews it seems that it is OK to use this before peptides (eg Hylamide or Buffet). Is that correct? eg if I were to use this, followed by Buffet? Thank you!

I tried this vitamin c over a year ago and loved it. I moved on to try and find other products which may be better but boy was I disappointed. The lightweight texture of this quickly absorbing oil based formula is simply amazing, gives the skin a wonderful glow and protects from drying especially in the winter, but is NOT oily in the slightest and does not clog pores etc. Among the best of the best, only improvement would be if it had vitamin E but I know that might upset the balance the product has now. I'll just suffice to adding vitamin E on top and be grateful for this product.

I bought and use Buffet w copper, granactive retinoid 2% and ascorbyl tetra 20% in F. I love them all and use them twice a day. I also have hyaluronic acid 2% plus B 5 and use that in the evening. I have received a few compliments on my skin over the past couple of months. I don't use foundation so having really good healthy skin is very important to me. I am 59 and love my skin, I have recommended this to all who have asked..

I created my own ant-aging and even skin tone regime. This Vitamin C is a part of my routine with Buffett, Alpha Arbutin, and tretinoin cream. My skin glows, and I get so many compliments.

the name of the product says ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate but the inci says tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate. they are two different chemicals according to research right? i have been using this product but since i live by the sea, it tends to get humid and i can only get away with using oil based products during winter/dryer months.i have heard great things about tetrahexyldecyl and i want to confirm what is actually used in this product.

1. The product does exactly as it say. For reasons I don't understand, this product feels like dead skin is rubbing off onto my fingered when I use it. I find this to be really cool aspect I haven't seen anyone else experience. I don't experience any irritation but Everytime I use this product, this happens. It leaves me skin feeling soft and looking glowy. Definitely going to rebuy. (And I know it's not other products, rubbing off or anything either cause it's the first product I use every morning on clean skin) it doesn't even mention this in the description, I wonder why this happens.

Love this stuff, my skin is sensitive to regular vit. c (ascorbic acid) but this stuff does wonders! high potency but also very gentle. within just a week of using it, my skin is more brighter. this serum used in the morning and tretinoin used at night = GOLD

I really want to love this serum but I find the vitamin C comedogenic. The problem is I tried another brand with Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate gave me the problem. The product Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate and Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate are used interchangeably by different skincare brands. So I am unsure if the problem is Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate or Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate or both. I just stay off oil soluble vitamin c and stick to water soluble ones.

I applied this product last night for the first time. It felt very very nice on the skin, it got absorbed immediately which I loved. I had no issues with it at the moment. However, the very next day I woke up with nice skin and applied a very strong sunscreen (50+ SPF) knowing that this serum might make my skin more sensitive to the sun, but skin got irritated anyway... Now it is red and feels very dry. I will give more time, maybe change some steps, I will keep trying to make it work, but so far it doesnt feel right for me.

I am very satisfied with the texture and the results too. Could I combine before or after with Hylamide SubQ skin? Should I buffer with an other serum between?

I love some of the other serums from the Ordinary brand, but this one didn't seem to do anything.

Been using this for a little over a month now in combination with the "daily set". My skin has really improved in the sense that it hardly ever has dry patches or breakouts anymore. I find that the vitamine c really helps with post breakout pigmentation. It didn't deminish my melasma but definitely helps to create a more even skin tone. I'm very satisfied with the products and would definitely recommend.

I combine it with retinol and they both works like magic.

Just 2 little zits, but from having none to all of a sudden having some unwanted visitors is a bummer. Yes, I did the patch test and didn't have any irritations. I am going to continue with my Ordinary regimen, but am eliminating this product.
