Not every product will work for every hair type. Products work differently for low and high porosity hair. Also, if your hair isn't healthy, chemically damaged, over processed, or hasn't had a trim in a very long time consider the state of your hair before bashing the product bc the hair itself may be very damaged. To the review.... I have type 3 hair and it worked very well for me. I used the intense conditioner on towel dried hair and let it sit in for 30 min under a shower cap with no head except from my body. I rinsed, used the Argan oil and leave in and let it air dry. The intense conditioner soaked right into my hair and the leave in kept it hydrated as my hair tends to be in the drier side (lack of drinking little to no water.) The results were good. It did why it was supposed to do. The scent was very very light to non existent. I just want to also mention about the price.... I'm someone who is used to purchasing salon quality hair care products but I also use non salon hair care products. Redken and Biolage are a few of my favorites along with melanin hair care. Redken and biolage is expensive and the amount given is way less than what Tracee is offering. Also take into consideration how much we spend on manicures and pedicures, installs, wigs, eyelash extensions, etc. her prices are fair. As far as scents... I grew up using the Lusters pink lotion as did my mom and hers as well as other types of grease and it was way more heavily scented than this. Great packaging. I picked up some hair pins and toes too. Loved the small box for the pins.Most Helpful Critical ReviewMedium Conditioner and Leave inSo, I've had time to sit with these two products and I'm just not a fan. The medium conditioner is too thick for my fine hair and has virtually no slip until it's rinsed out a bit. The condition leaves a weird film on my hair that I'm not used to and I can really feel it once I'm out the shower and run my hands over my hair. Next is the Leave In Conditioner.... I wanted to love this product but I'm just not impressed, it's thick in my opinion maybe if you have denser or courser hair you will say it's a light product. For as heavy of a leave in conditioner that it is, it does nothing to define my curls and it usually doesn't take much to define them. I even tried to mix in the oil like instructed and NOTHING! Added more water, nothing! I noticed from YouTube reviews that people who did twistouts loved this product. I can't do twist outs, only wash n gos and I just think this product wasn't wash n go friendly for me. The packaging and messaging behind the products are beautiful. I feel that your advertising is misleading the consumers to purchase jumbo size containers for the convenience of a pump action that does not work 50% of the time. We, the consumer are being duped at an exorbitant cost to our pockets. The product has been around long enough and your company has been made aware of the faulty mechanism through numerous reviews, that some action should have been implemented for correction, but you continue instead to deceive the consumers and promote a quality product. It is incredibly moisturizing and doesn't leave a residue. I am giving this 3 stars because of the larger size pump bottle. Once you use 2/3 of the bottle, the pump STOPS WORKING. The feeder tube does not go all the way to the bottom and leaves a LOT of conditioner left The way the lid is designed you cant even put a tube from another bottle in it. You have to take the entire top of and scoop conditioner out with your hand or transfer it into another container altogether. I have very short tight 3C curls. My wash day routine is hydration shampoo 2x, medium conditioner brushed thru with shower brush for 10 minutes with a plastic conditioning cap on while showering, leave in conditioner, 2 pumps each Jojoba and argan oil, then either curl cream or curl gel (whichever one I'm feeling), brush thru with shower brush, finger style and go. My curls are super soft like baby hair, shiny, and just poppin juicy! I'm lazy and don't tie my hair up at night...yes Tracee I have the satin cap :grin:...and usually don't have to reapply oil or product for 4 days, which is halfway to the next wash day. I just wish the fragrance was a little "sweeter" as opposed to lavender-ish. I also use the medium conditioner as a co-wash when needed to restore extra moisture during the warmer months.
