I am over 40 and absolutely love this concealer. It doesn't dry or crack under my eyes. I only put a dot under each eye and I press it in my skin with a damp beauty sponge. I never use powder to set it. It sets itself and never budges. I always suggest to start out with little product and build to your liking with any makeup product. I have one complaint, and that is the color selection. Because this product color selection is so light, I only use it under my eyes to brighten. I'm very fair with pink undertones, red hair, and blue eyes, and I feel that the color selection is even too light for me. I am having a hard time finding one that matches my skin tone. I have tried Soft Cream, which is too light under my eyes, so I am going to have to go darker in color to Vanilla Bean or Custard to see whether either of those are more suited to my skin tone.
While the pigment is very strong and coverage full, the formula is too dry for me. There's a little more creasing than I'd expect from such a dry formula, and when I set it with my beloved Aquasurance powder foundation (or any other powder I've tried), I get bunching. Normal eye moisture causes this concealer to break up, so it's not waterproof at all. It took a lot of work to make it look smooth around my eyes. It's also extremely light in color. I bought a shade that's 2 shades deeper than what I'd usually select, and it's still a little too light (see photo). Basically, you can use this to point conceal or highlight smooth oily places on the face--but I would keep it away from any place with lines or dryness or moisture. At this price point, I'd get Elf camo instead.

I had really high hopes for this concealer given that im extremely pale and have trouble finding shades that dont look yellow on me, however this transfers SO BAD even when set and using setting spray. It creases before you can even get it blended out and rubs off extremely easy. Great color if you're very very pale, but there not much else good to say about it

As soneone with intense dark under eyes, this concealer completely covered them, all i used was 2-3 small dots and it looked flawless. This is a concealer i would spend serious money on. Honestly i have enjoyed most if not all of the products from this brand

I was on the hunt for a new concealer after staying true to elf 16hr camo for years. I started to get a weird allergic reaction to it where my eyes would turn bloodshot red and would not stop watering🥹. Ive had my eye on this J.Cat concealer for a while but i never took a chance until now & i have zero regrets! It stays put in the heat, it is so smooth and leaves a gorgeous finish under my eyes without creasing & this says a lot for me who has problem skin i.e. large pores fine lines and puffiness. I was worried i would have the same reaction as the elf concealer seeing as they have similar base ingredients but thankfully i did not. I saw some reviews said that it is drying, i personally didnt find it drying. I use FAB ultra repair cream and Ordinary 100% plant derived squalane around my eyes. Please dont ever stop selling this, Ulta! This is my new holy grail! The only thing i will say is that the photos dont show accurate color, i ended up getting a color closer to my skin rather than highlight. Ended up being a happy accident however just be aware!

I bought two of these! the colors were fine but i don't recommend for aging skin. they're dry and just sit on the skin. hard to even blend. I'm glad they were cheap because they're awful.

This concealer is AMAZING in coverage, I haven't found a good dupe imo for the tarte shape tape before this one. My only issue is the color selection is off. It has amazing shades for extremely fair and deep but there is no shades for light to tan in between. I don't mind mixing colors for now but I would love to see the shade range expanded! ❤️

The good: doesn't crease or crack when set with a little bit of powder, blends well, offers very, very light shades - almost white, transfer resistant on non oily places, highly pigmented, full coverage, fully blocks out dark circles and blemishes without the need for color correction The bad: will barely crack a little (not crease) under the eye if not set with a little (it took very little) powder QUICKLY, will transfer a few hours later in oily places but only directly above the oily pores leaving a polka dotted appearance and making it look like your pores are larger than they are if you touch that entire oily area, not waterproof.

Have only used this a couple of times, but so far it has performed very well! It's stayed in place with no creases

Ok, I am gonna help someone out here, because I STILL can't find a shade in this. I tried Buff and Custard and they are MILES apart shade-wise. Buff is around NC20-25 (guesstimated), and Custard is around NC10 or even lighter. I need something in the N15 range. I am pretty fair, but these lighter shades are almost different shades of white. The concealer is also very dry. Decent coverage, but it also dries up a little and loses coverage over time. I can't stand dealing with that. I need to know things will stay the same once I walk out the door. Not the WORST concealer. But a pretty annoying one.

so glad I tried this simply because I scrolled across ans thought "why not!". turns out it's exactly what I needed. was using NYX (love that too! shout out NYX) but this one was a tad lighter and what I was looking for. stays all day. super happy with this find and will keep using it.

Wow. I am so blown away by this $6 concealer. It's creamy and non-drying, lasts all day and night, doesn't settle into fine lines. Full coverage without being cakey. I've tried so many concealers … Huda, Tarte, Benefit, Too Faced… this one wins by far.

This seems to have decent coverage, but looks so dry and heavy on me. I am still giving it some different attempts, different eye creams underneath, using less product, setting with different powders, not setting at all, etc. So far, I can't make this work for me. Also, this runs very light so try looking up video swatches before you buy online. I bought the shade based on description and it's about a shade lighter than I would have purchased.

There are a few things about this concealer I like. It's got good coverage and it lasts all day. It looks pretty good upon first application, but it sinks into my fine lines and looks really bad after only a couple of hours. I've tried prepping my skin differently, and setting with different powders, and just can't get it to wear well on my eyes. It's matte and a bit drying, and tends to look cracked and very textured, which is super aging… if I'd purchased a color less brightening, perhaps I could try it elsewhere on my face with fewer lines and texture, but I got a very light shade and can only use it under eyes. I'm sure this works beautifully for skin less mature than mine. (I'm 47)

I bought this online because it's the only way I have found it and I'm glad I did! It's the best concealer I've ever tried and beats shape tape and all those other big name brands It's not expensive,it last all day and into the next morning (have done this a couple times 😬 and I woke looking pretty dang good lol. I will say just using a face wash won't remove this though,as it is very waterproof so use eye maker remover as well.

I don't wear a lot of makeup but I use this under my eyes and it really covers my undereye purpleness and looks natural under my glossier face tint. a little goes a long way. Super good value.

I got the buff color and it's perfect. Yellow undertone that's a little lighter than my skin, so it offers a brightening effect. This covers nicely and doesn't crease. Very good quality!

how is this so cheap? doesn't settle in my lines or look drying.

I've literally never written a review before, but I had to. I'm not kidding when I say this stuff is some of the best concealer I've ever used. I recently fell and gave myself an atrocious black eye, and was dreading going to work. My eye was so so purple, and I'm not even joking when I say my coworkers couldn't even really tell that I had much of a bruise at all; they had to stare really intently to see anything. This stuff is kind of magic and really saved me a lot of embarrassment. I would definitely recommend it!!! I bought this when it was on sale for like $4.50 since I saw it had pretty good reviews and figured I'd go for it. It applies really easily with a beauty blender and is definitely buildable. I also found that it lasted really well throughout the day. I think it would totally be worth it's full price and found it worked better than Elf and Tarte!!

I have thin, pale skin and deep set eyes, so my undereye is perpetually a dark purple that's nearly impossible to cover up. On top of that, I'm in my 30s and my skin is getting dry, plus fine lines are starting. Most full coverage concealers settle into those fine lines no matter what I do. Not this one - with caveats: First - don't apply it thick like beauty youtubers. When I say a little goes a long way I am serious. I got the best results by applying 10 minutes after my normal skincare on moisturized skin, no primer, in a TINY dot on the darkest part of my undereye, then blended out by tapping my fingers. This stuff is THICK and did not spread well with beauty blenders or brushes, and looks a hot mess if you apply it heavy. However, it looked perfectly smooth when applied extremely light and blended with my fingers. After it completely dries, I will layer if I need more coverage - which I don't. This is truly full coverage. Second, skip the setting powder unless you have VERY oily skin. Like extra oily - my eye lids are naturally oily and I still didn't need to set this concealer. This stuff dries down matte and setting powder makes the drying worse, causing it to flake and emphasize fine lines. Using this method, the result looked like my natural skin, absolutely no caking, settling, or flaking, and it stayed put all day.

I'm a light skinned warm/olive gal and I got the shade Buff. It looks like the right shade when it's in the tube and when I first dot it on my skin, but upon blending it out it's far too dark, enough that I have used it as a liquid bronzer. Not sure if other shades do this but if so, buy a lighter shade than you think you need. Otherwise, I like the staying power and formula!

I have an issue with dark circles that seem impossible to cover. I feel like I have used every concealer out there. This is a great affordable option! I originally got it because I wanted some "cheap make up" to try out but very much surprised me. It is lightweight, doesn't crease, and easily blendable.
