The consistency is like dried out toothpaste and you have to really squeeze it to get it out. The consistency is fine and has not separated on me. I use it about once a week and it has definitely improved the appearance of my clogged pores around the nose area. I usually extract the pores first then use it. I find that I don't have to extract as often and there is significantly less oil/ clogged up gunk when I do. I am happy this mask has worked so well, this is the key to less clogged pores. My only complaint is barely any product comes out when you squeeze the bottle. I have to push so hard to get just a little out. I like to put it primarily in the T-zone area and do a mixed mask on other parts of the face with their AHA/BHA red colored peeling solution. However, it is great for the whole face as well. Make sure to leave it on dry, clean skin for about 10-15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm or warm water. Using this once a week has dramatically reduced and ended my blackheads and size of my nose and t-zone pores especially. I recommend this mask as a great addition to a well rounded skin care routine and it last a long time and is so affordable too.
