This brightened YEAR old lightened hair that I didn't even know was there. During quarantine, I have been unable to get my hair done and I was looking for an alternative solution. My roots were light brown & my highlights were grown out to my eyebrows. I typically get my hair lightened 2-3 times a year & it was 6 months since my last lightening. With 1 usage of this masque (5 mins in), my entire head of hair was instantly lighter. My family even thought I went and secretly got highlights done. Not only that... it lasted for weeks with 1 use and washing it three times a week. I have been getting my hair lightened for 10 years & always search for blonde hair products. I've tried SO MANY deep conditioners, hair masks etc and none of them did a thing to improve texture & appearance. This conditioner helped to remove some of the mineral buildup which did brighten my highlights a bit, but most importantly it left my hair far more silky and healthy feeling/looking. I whole highlight every 2-3 months with a root melt. I wash my hair once a week. I usually blow dry and then straighten or curl my hair for the week with some touch ups here and there. I have always dealt with tangled, unmanageable hair that is difficult to grow out, and ever since I started bleaching my hair, it's gotten frizzy and dead as well.
