I LOVE this foundation. It's got a beautiful medium coverage finish, and I love how it looks like actual skin AND can be worn beautifully dewy without powder, or mattefied with it. HOWEVER, after owning that many bottles I have REALLY grown to hate the component. The lid does NOT stay on in my kit or travel bag, and I've only ever had one or two bottles that the pump itself worked correctly on. In fact, I just bought a replacement of my go-to base shade yesterday, and the pump worked correctly exactly ONE time before getting stuck and turning itself into a "screw top" bottle. I absolutely hate the pump on these. The first couple times, I just switched out a working pump from an old bottle, but there just literally isn't even working pumps for me to even do that anymore. Total let down.Most Helpful Critical ReviewTerrible bottle design but good foundationI bought this a few months ago and within a few weeks the foundation started seeping through the edges of the pump and the pump stopped working. It makes a mess every time I go to use it. The foundation itself is ok. It's a pretty wet formula and takes awhile to set but it has pretty descent coverage. After four tries I feel like I can say this with confidence: the foundation is fine, but it's not good enough to justify putting up with the packaging. All four of my bottles either leaked or the pump broke after only a couple of uses. Now, if it was an amazing and outstanding foundation I could probably handle the frustration of the bottle, but it's not. It's runny, doesn't hold up against sweat and is not "luminous" in any way. I bought this foundation on a whim a few years back and as soon as I put it on, it looked like a second skin for me. I keep coming back to it and can't find a better foundation. I did notice that it is really similar to the Maybelline Fit Me Dewey as I tested it before. A bottle lasts me past the experiation date but I usually only wear it when I'm going out. A little does go a long way; if you cake it up, it will not set properly and you can literally rub it off. But this foundation fits my skin so well, never had breakouts because of it, I've wore it for 24 hours (😬 blacked out lmao) and it still looked good the next morning. It would have been great if there were spf in it. What I absolutely hate about this prouduct is all the pump NEVER works. I bought 3 due to the 50% off sale. The first bottle's lid unscrewed and got all over my makeup bag and the pump doesn't come back up when you press. The second one's glass broke. Literally felt so cheap 😪. The third bottle i literally just took out of the foundation box for the first time literally had an unscrewed lid! I walked through the designer brand side of the store so clueless and honestly overwhelmed like I feel every time I go in Ulta by all the choices I could possibly make. I sampled various colors and brands until I tried the ABH and I thought it would be nice full coverage so I found my shade and took it home. First of all - the little pump on the top has not worked since I bought it. When you push down it gets stuck and you manually have to put it back upright to push down on it again. By this time my foundation I've already pumped out is running down my blending sponge, hand, or whatever surface I'm putting it on for application. Secondly, it just doesn't blend into my face well.. it makes me look sort of pastey and I don't like the way my powder foundation sets on top of it.
