I've tried so many eyeliners, but this is the best. It stays on all day and is so easy to put on. I read a lot of bad reviews of this eyeliner saying it takes too long to dry and that they don't like the applicator tip, so I used a small brush and apply it. Worked great for me. I highly recommend it, and I have oily lids. If you are having problems with smearing, use a small am out of arrow root powder on your lids after applying. ☺
I have been wearing liquid liner since I was a teenager. From Revlon to higher end products found at Sephora and department stores, I've tried them all. I wanted to switch to a natural mascara and was very excited to try this out since I love W3ll People products. First, the applicator is not my favorite. It's very stiff compared to my favorite calligraphy type pens. There is also a lot of goopy product on the tip -- I end up wiping most of it away. Application was very messy and when "dry" (took over a minute) it smudged like no other liquid liner I have ever tried. I had raccoon eyes at the end of the hour. I wanted to give this the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe "natural" liners have a bit of a learning curve. I tried it many ways with eyelid primer, setting powder, powder liner on top to set, switched up my eye cream, oils, etc. Still -- smudge city. I really love W3LL People and their products but this is a big let down. Please reformulate! Note** Purchased this from another retailer and was unable to return.

I buy high scale makeup so hardly have bad experiences. I wore this eye liner first time today. It's cool out not hot. I drove my car about 1 1/2 hours. When to where I was going, looked in the mirror and the eye liner was BELOW my eyes - smeared. I pride myself in doing the thin-est of lines. I wear very little. I did not even wear the new WP Mascara I bought (haven't tried that yet). But this eyeliner is a COMPLETE WASTE of money. How can you even sell this! Awful.

This product was a fail for me. I struggle to find clean liquid eyeliners. The formula on the one I used for years was changed and now it irritates my eyes. So I was happy to find this product. Unfortunately, it doesn't set. I end up with it smeared all over my eyes. Not a good look.

The application for this liner is almost unbearable
I love natural products & this price point but it takes alot to get used to this short stubby stiff tip
You have to wait until it's completely dried before applying lashes I wouldn't re-purchase this product

Even as I was applying it and trying to fix the lines, it would not come off. It hadn't even dried yet but it was a mess. And at the end of the day when I was taking it off, I had to use a few rounds with makeup remover, which is more than I'm used to.
I want to be able to fix the lines and not pull on my eye skin to get it off at the end of the day. I bought for the less toxic ingredients but I won't be buying again.

I don't love how stiff the applicator is. Also, definitely get dark circles under my eyes wearing this for a few hours, but it's way better than the mascara.

Lots of reviews complaining that this is impossible to apply—it's not. It just takes a delicate hand. Also complaints of smudging everywhere, but that's probably because they're using too much. When it's new, there's too much product, so I wipe a lot off the applicator on the container before applying. You can also apply too much if you use the broader part of the applicator. I try to angle the applicator so that I use just the very tip. Even then, sometimes it goes on heavier, sometimes a perfect thin line. But that's okay. I usually like it either way, because I like to experiment with my looks every day. If I apply more heavily, sometimes I'll use a cotton swab to gently blot and blend, or it will end up on my upper eyelids. Every once in a while, my hand slips, and I totally screw up the line, but it's not too hard to fix with a cotton swab. Yes, this can be tricky to use, but I will say that it's a big improvement over eye pencils. The applicator glides over my skin without tugging at it. I wish I hadn't used eye pencils most of my adult life. Now that I'm closer to 40 than not, I'm regretting tugging on my delicate eyelids for so much of my life using eye pencils for eyeliner. I don't want to go back to pencils, and I don't want to go back to toxic makeup. So this product is it for the foreseeable future!

The company that made my old liquid eyeliner just recently discontinued it. However, I knew that I wanted to find another company that prioritized clean beauty. I stumbled upon Well People on my search and I absolutely LOVE their liquid eyeliner. Its so easy to use and goes on nice and smooth.

By the end of the day, black on my underlid and the edges of the liner were completely smudged off

I'm searching for a hypoallergenic eyeliner that doesn't trigger my migraines, and this worked!! But it doesn't stay on and it smudges to the point where it ruins my makeup look. Returning it and the search for a good eyeliner continues.

The eyeliner smudges and smears all over you face. I had to hold compeltely still to let it dry for over 3 minutes (otherwise it transfered to my upper lid!) Then after I cleaned up the smears with a q-tip, I spent the rest of the day cleaning up more smudges and smears. I should metion I do not have oily skin, and I wasn't in high heat or humidity. But it get one star for being EWG verified. That's why I bought it, but if it smears all over my eyes all day long, there's really no point in buying it. And there's a no return policy, so it's just going in the trash 😮 On a positive note, the W3LL PEOPLE foundation was awesome!

use this eyeliner on top eyelid. Love it as you can make it as thick or thin when applying. I was using a powder that I mixed with water which I like but this is much easier and no clumping or inconsistent coverage like I had with my other product.

It it a little difficult to get on. It ends up below my eyes in no time. Makes it look like I am wearing make up from the night before that I have slept in.

This eyeliner is really intense and extremely hard to remove. I had to rub my eyelids hard with two types of cleanser and little bits still ended up all in my eyes. I wish I could return it.

Great product! Stays on , easy glide

This product is good. I was disappointed, however, as I thought the tip was a small brush but turned out it is felt. I find the brush tips are much easier for me to manage. I guess I didn't read enough about it before the purchase and it wasn't clear in the picture image.

Dispose of the wand and replace with a thin brush instead. It smears all around your eyes if you are not extremely careful and you just have to wait till it dries completely or you soon look like a clown
I like this eyeliner but it smudges a ton! I did a cool cat eye and at some point during the day I smudged the corner point all over my face... I was so embarrassed! This eyeliner should be used for small lines and nothing dramatic like a cat eye. You could also use this eye liner to created a smudged smoky eye look. I do like that my eyes are not irritated by the eyeliner.
The overall look is fabulous and long lasting. The liner tends to be very wet and can run throughout the day.
It may be a great product but the applicator tip is not pointy enough, and collects too much of the liquid eyeliner so it is impossible to apply with out getting the liner all over your eye lid , very messy! Tried a few times, so sad I can even use it.
I used to buy mine at whole foods, but i moved to a new state and my new whole foods locations didn't stock it. I tried THREE other brands of eyeliner that had high-integrity ingredients and they were all sore let downs, barely showed after drawing the line over 10 times. so here i am, ordering my eyeliner ONLINE after years of buying my makeup at whole foods. legit nothing compares to well people's eyeliner. ultra dark, long lasting and goes on smooth. tis perfection.

I like the way it applies but that's about it. I don't like the look of it when it dries and it's not waterproof. Next!

I was so excited to try this liner because I'm always looking for clean brands. This applied easily and I liked how pigmented black it is. However when I dabbed my watery eyes (from allergies) I looked like a raccoon afterwards. The black smudged all over where my tears came in contact. Definitely not water proof. I would return but I think I'm outside the return window. I'll try to use only when my allergies are not acting up. Disappointed with this purchase.

Long lasting formula, that doesn't irritate sensitive eyes. Doesn't run or smear on me and gives me a really precise line. Isn't a very wet formula and doesn't take long to dry, it's very pigmented and does a great job. My favorite liquid liner. I use a liner brush to apply for a finer line than I get w/the felt tip applicator.
