I was concerned at first that the color might be too dark for my fair skintone however, this highlighter stick is amazingly adaptable and I believe would work for all skintones. I love that this is a clean formula, made from plant ingredients like sunflower seed oil, which doubles as a bit of skincare as it moisturizes & conditions your skin. The formula is super creamy & easy to use. It works best with either your fingertips or a small duo fiber stippling brush. It illuminates the areas you place it, & you can increase the opacity easily by building it up. Your skin will be left with a dewy, radiant glow that just makes you look so healthy. The small, compact tube that it comes in makes it a great size for traveling & you don't have to worry about cracking your powder highlighter or your liquid ones leaking all over the place. Once you've warmed up this creamy, balmy formula & place it where you deem appropriate, it dries down in a comfortable way & doesn't budge so, you won't have to worry about any fading with this highlighter. Seriously, I use it all over my face & body, it leaves the most beautiful, natural, illuminating, radiant glow & when the sun hits you just right, your skin lights up and sparkles in the best way possible. I have to say that the packaging and ingredients list had me excited for this. The packaging looks super sleek, it looks high end although simplistic. I like that it is travel friendly as it is a small stick. I also like this as I felt the smaller stick would give you more control during application as you generally would not put this all over your face. Rather, you just want to highlight the cheekbones and the bridge or tip of your nose. Well, although this was the case, I was not pleased with the product. The higher did not apply we smoothly. It was pretty blotchy and when I tried to distribute it evenly, it got worse. The ingredients are all natural and it has a lot of moisturizing oils (jojoba oil and sunflower seed oil) claiming it offers a more youthful look, but this did not work for me. The stick was too oily and clumped up. I did like the shimmer as it wasn't super dramatic and the glitters were quite small, but it looked too oily for my taste. For the price point of about $22 dollars, I would have expected more. I would prefer something easier to apply and something that looks a bit more natural, possibly l as oily. The website says you may use it on your lips or eyelids, but I don't recommend this as I think it's just too oily to last a full day. I was super excited to try the highlighter and loved the idea of its small, on-the-go packaging. I was a little disappointed when I first received it because the stick had come separated from the bottom of the container and was stuck in the cap. It took me some work to get it out and I slightly damaged the product but once I stuck it back to the base I was able to roll it up and down as intended. Once it was usable again, I really enjoyed the product. It is blendable, doesn't feel heavy on your skin and has just the right amount of pop to work into any make up look. It does not blend in very well, so while I did have a nice glow, I felt overly oily/shiny. After that, I watched a w3ll people YouTube video on what parts of your face are best suited for the highlighter, and I noticed how LITTLE of the product the girl used. Armed with this information, the second time applying it was much more successful. This highlighter is much better suited for subtle contouring around your temples, under your eyebrows, etc. and not as an all over highlighter.
